‘Star Wars Episode 8 News/Rumors’: Possible Trailer Leak Of Cast Member Mark Hamill/Luke Skywalker Dialogue [Spoilers]

Star Wars: Episode 8 news revealed a very interesting trailer dialogue from the lips of Mark Hamill’s Luke Skywalker character which may have leaked according to YouTuber Mike Zeroh in a report by Screen Rant. For those fans that had been hankering for some juicy tidbits from the second installment of the current trilogy, a trailer had been cut according to the YouTuber. If this true, it probably would be considered a minor spoiler.

“You contain the spark that will rekindle the fire.”

So far, there has been no news regarding the next flick and probably for good reason as Lucasfilm would likely want to train itself and the fan base’s focus on Rogue One. This new leaked information should be taken with a grain of salt as Zeroh’s sources are questionable.

Four of these Star Wars Episode 8 information sources reached out to Mark via various social media platforms. Two of them were highly questionable while the others were rather trustworthy. One of the latter was reported by Zeroh had been in touch with the YouTuber for quite some time. That said, there looks to be a good chance this will be the real deal if a trailer does break.

If you take a look back, Ewan McGregor recalled his line from The Force Awakens, according to Entertainment Weekly.

“Rey… these are your first steps.”

These mysterious phrases have their similarities where The Force Awakens mentions Daisy Ridley’s character by name. The rumored dialogue could be also directed at Rey and they could both suggest her beginnings as a Jedi. This is just speculation, but it does have that feel.

Do you think Rey will have another vision with the rumored Star Wars Episode 8 Luke Skywalker leaked dialogue?

When Mark Hamill was at Star Wars Celebration in England, he was talking about his career. When he got on the topic of Episode 8, he suggested the lines spoke in the movie may overshadow the ones from the original trilogy and citing Rian Johnson’s work as admirable, according to Science Fiction.

“I was looping Episode VIII yesterday and there’s dialogue in here and I thought ‘Oh boy, I can already see this on a tee shirt’. Rian Johnson is amazing. He’ll make you forget all about ‘May the Force Be With You’. He’s come up with so many new catchphrases.”

In Star Wars: The Force Awakens, he only appears at the end without dialogue in the movie. This could mean the gravity of finally hearing cast member Mark Hamill embody his decades vintage Luke Skywalker character after so many years. This would probably hype up the fans of the Lucasfilm franchise.

Other Star Wars Episode 8 rumors brought forth to the web also revealed a possible slip from Mark Hamill at the 2016 Salt Lake City Comic-Con. When he spoke about finding time to watch The Killing Joke, he talked about the interference with his scheduled night shoots

“I came home and I realized, ‘oh my gosh, they have an interview for me tomorrow afternoon. I haven’t watched [The Killing Joke], and the day after I start on a sequence, an elaborate special effects sequence where I’m not going to be able to do anything. I have to focus specifically on the Episode VIII scene I’m doing.”

Was that an indicator regarding the rumored Knights of Ren night scene along with Kylo Ren, all battling it out with Luke Skywalker and Rey? Will Episode 8 dig deeper into Rey’s transition into becoming a Jedi? The ambiguous nature of even the possible leak would be enough to excite fans.

Star Wars Episode 8 opens in theaters come Dec. 15, 2017 and is directed by Rian Johnson with cast members Daisy Ridley as Rey, Adam Driver as Kylo Ren, Carrie Fisher as Leia, Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, and a host of other new faces of the franchise. Do you believe the leak to be possible in the next installment?
