First ‘Dishonored’ DLC Coming This December

If you’ve already wrapped up your play-through of Dishonored but you’re looking for more, Arkane and publisher Bethesda have your back.

On Thursday, Bethesda announced that Dishonored will be getting its first DLC this December. Dunwall City Trials, as it’s called, comes with a collection of ten challenge maps; one challenge pits you against waves of enemies — Horde style — while another has you racing against the clock.

Dishonored‘s first DLC doesn’t have a release date just yet, but Bethesda says that it will be out at some point in December for an agreeable $4.99.

If you’d prefer to expand your standard singleplayer experience, Arkane also has a couple of things in the works on that front. Bethesda says that it plans to release at least two singleplayer DLCs for Dishonored, the first of which will roll out around spring 2013.

Here’s what Bethesda had to say about Dishonored‘s second DLC:

“Daud, the leader of a group of supernatural assassins known as ‘The Whalers’, will be the focus of the second add-on pack, scheduled for release in early Spring 2013. Make your way through new Dunwall locales and discover Daud’s own set of weapons, powers and gadgets in this story-driven campaign. How you play and the choices you make will impact the final outcome…”

Bethesda wasn’t willing to share any details on the third expansion, but the company promises that more will be revealed as we near closer to its 2013 launch date.

What sort of Dishonored DLC would you like to see more of? Do you think the game is fine as-is?
