Let’s get it on: Aruba hotel offers couples “conception credit”

An Aruba Westin resort is offering couples $300 in a “conception credit” if they can prove they conceived their child at the resort. If you’ve reproduced, you know what a paltry amount that is in comparison to even a week of diapers, but if you’re already up the spout, you might as well take it.

The resort, on the northern coast of Aruba in Palm Beach, will accept a doctor’s note showing that conception likely occurred during a proven stay as proof. It was not immediately clear if the credit came in the form of actual money or credit to spend at the resort for lodging or food.
