Ben Affleck And Jennifer Garner Celebrate Thanksgiving At Home With The Kids — Divorce Put On Hold

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner may not be a couple anymore, but that doesn’t mean that they can’t celebrate Thanksgiving together, especially on account of the fact that they have two children to think about.

“Jen and Ben spent Thanksgiving Day together with the kids at home,” a source told People. “They cooked and seemed to have a great time,” says the source, adding that Garner’s parents were with them in Los Angels to celebrate the holidays together.

The fact that Ben and Jen just spent the holidays together shouldn’t come as a shock to anyone anymore. After all, the former couple has managed to set aside their differences for the sake of their kids since announcing their split more than a year ago. In fact, the two exes are still living together and “things haven’t changed much” since they went their separate ways.

“There are no plans for a divorce,” an insider said.

Contrary to some reports, the source said that Jennifer Garner “denies that they are getting back together.” The source, a friend of the actress, told People that Jen herself denied the reconciliation rumors to her friends. It’s also interesting to note that the Alias actress “doesn’t seem to mind at all that the divorce is not finalized.”

According to Radar Online, Ben Affleck is working hard to get back into Jennifer Garner’s life, which is why he is “making a big effort to spend as much time with their kids as possible.” Ben wants his wife back so badly that he came up with a “win Jen back” plot, according to a source.

If the “win Jen back” plot rumor is indeed true, Affleck has been doing a good job of it as he has been spotted going out with Jennifer and their kids numerous times in the last couple of months.

It’s heartening to see both Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner going the extra mile to spend more time with their two kids. As reported by X 17 Online, the exes took their son Samuel to The Farm inside Brentwood’s Country Mart in Los Angeles on Monday. And despite their separation over a year ago, Ben and Jen looked comfortable with each other’s company.

It was a casual Monday hangout, with Jen wearing a navy sweater, a denim skirt, and brown loafers, and Ben rocking a puffer jacket and jeans. Their adorable son was wearing a green fleece and a pair of black jeans. And going by the black 2017 calendar Garner was holding, it’s fair to speculate that she and Ben are planning on taking their kids out for more vacations next year.

When they exited the Farm, Jennifer carried a cup of coffee. She didn’t have her wedding ring on.

Those still holding out hope that the estranged couple may get back together soon can take heart from reports claiming that the two have been going out on dates together without the kids. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner started going out together sans the kids several months ago.

“It’s happened over the last several months. They started going on out on dates, just the two of them, without the kids,” a source told In Touch about their rekindled relationship. “And they actually had fun.”

“Jen said she felt like it was what was best for her and the family at this point,” the source added.

Whether Ben and Jen are headed for a reconciliation or not, the former couple deserves a lot of praise for doing their best in co-parenting their kids.
