‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 7: Alleged Reddit Plot Leak — Every Spoiler Confirmed So Far

Warning: The following article contains spoilers for Game of Thrones Season 7.

When the alleged Game of Thrones Season 7 plot leak surfaced on Reddit, a healthy dose of skepticism followed. That was back in late October. Now that we are nearing the end of November, a certain portion of the spoilers from the alleged plot leak that was originally published on the subreddit Free Folk and authored by ‘awayforthelads,’ and recompiled by user ‘maureencreates,’ have been confirmed. Below are the most significant.

Jon and Daenerys meet

Fans became aware of this spoiler’s validity the weekend before the alleged Season 7 Reddit plot leak went viral. Los Siete Reinos was the first to report word of actor Kit Harington’s arrival in Spain. A short while later, pictorial confirmation surfaced on social media of Harington and Emilia Clarke filming scenes as their Game of Thrones characters, Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen, respectively.

Jon puts Sansa in charge of Winterfell when he leaves the North

Ser Davos (Liam Cunningham) is clearly not in charge because he is accompanying Jon on his trip to meet Daenerys. Given that Watchers on the Wall reports that Arya and Sansa will clash on how to “rule” that would have to mean at least one of them is in charge. The safe bet is that person is Sansa.

The Lannisters sack Highgarden

Winter is Coming has confirmed the alleged Reddit plot leak’s claim that the Lannister’s would be victorious in their attack on Highgarden, the home base of House Tyrell. There is a second half to that spoiler, which pertains to the fate of Lady Olenna Tyrell (Diana Rigg).

According to the alleged plot leak on Reddit, after the Lannister’s forces successfully secure Highgarden, Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) will allow Olenna to commit suicide by drinking poison after she confesses to masterminding Joffrey’s assassination. The latter half has yet to be confirmed.

Daenerys will ambush the Lannister’s forces

Winter is Coming has confirmed that the Khaleesi will lead a sneak attack against the Lannister’s forces, following their sacking of Highgarden.

Sansa and Arya reunite and fight, a situation Littlefinger attempts to exploit

Watchers on the Wall has confirmed that Sansa (Sophie Turner), Arya (Maisie Williams), and Bran (Isaac Hempstead-Wright) will reunite with each other in Season 7. Watchers also reports that Littlefinger will scheme to use the already tense relationship between Sansa and Arya to his advantage, attempting to drive a wedge between the sisters.

The alleged Game of Thrones Season 7 Reddit plot leak contained both spoilers, along with one more unverified tidbit. That Sansa will grow wise to Littlefinger’s plot and order his execution, which Arya eventually carries out.

To prove to Daenerys and the rest of Westeros that the White Walker threat is real, Jon leads a force to capture irrefutable proof

This spoiler from the alleged plot leak is all but confirmed. According to Watchers on the Wall, filming at Wolf Hill Quarry in Northern Ireland is underway for a huge Game of Thrones battle scene involving snow, a giant green screen and “300 wights.” Make of that what you will.

Jon brings a wight before Westeros

Watchers on the Wall confirmed that Jon Snow would bring the wight that he and his convoy capture, before an audience that will include Cersei (Lena Headey), Daenerys, Tyrion (Peter Dinklage), and a myriad of other Game of Thrones characters.

The White Walker threat is expected to bring Game of Thrones’ vast cast of characters together for the first time in Season 7.

Sam cures Jorah

Greyscale sufferer Jorah Mormont (Iain Glen) was last seen leaving the side of his beloved Daenerys after the Mother of Dragons ordered him to find a cure for his illness. Watchers on the Wall has confirmed that Sam is the one who heals Jorah, confirming another of the alleged Reddit plot leak’s spoilers.

Jon and Theon come face-to-face for the first time since Theon betrayed the Starks. A livid Jon violently accosts Theon, only sparing him because he helped Sansa escape from Ramsay.

The physical aspect of this exchange has been confirmed via leaked set photos that surfaced online and can be seen on Winter is Coming. The dialogue is the only aspect of the spoiler that has not been substantiated. Although the body language exhibited between the actors seems to support the alleged Reddit plot leak’s contention.

To see how all of these spoilers from the alleged Reddit plot leak play out, tune in when Game of Thrones Season 7 premieres next summer on HBO.
