Mia Khalifa Donald Trump Petition

Timeflies Releases Mia Khalifa Song, Petition Asks Donald Trump To Make Adult Film Star An Ambassador

Mia Khalifa’s rise to fame has been anything but conventional. Two years ago, nobody had even heard Khalifa’s name. According to Complex, Khalifa uploaded an explicit video to an adult entertainment site and her journey to fame and fortune began.

Just two days later, Khalifa launched her own website with a video showing her and “her stepmom” in a threesome. The fact that Khalifa and the other women were dressed in head scarves caused outrage among some Muslim communities. The Washington Post reported that Khalifa, who was born in Lebanon but raised in Maryland, was subject of death threats from Islamic State terrorists.

It was claimed that Khalifa’s Lebanese heritage had caused outrage in the country of her birth, especially after the website Pornhub claimed Mia was the most-searched adult film actress on their site. Arguably, much of Khalifa’s fame arose from her decision to wear head scarves in a sexually explicit movie. Head scarves are a veil worn by many Muslim women when in the presence of adult males who are not members of her immediate family.

The outrage shown by some ensured that Khalifa’s name became known the world over. A number of Beirut-based newspapers wrote critical articles about Khalifa, and she was subjected to online abuse on social media, where she has a strong presence.

One Twitter user even posted a picture purportedly taken from an Islamic State execution video. The picture shows Khalifa’s head photoshopped onto a body wearing an orange jumpsuit. As most people will know the Islamic State terrorists often dressed their victims in this fashion before they conducted online beheadings.

Khalifa has said that she did not expect such a reaction to her video, especially from as far away as the Lebanon, where she has not lived for more than a decade.

Timeflies – Mia Khalifa

Khalifa’s fame spread even quicker early in 2015 when hip-hop duo Timeflies released a song titled “Mia Khalifa” as a tribute. Khalifa treated her fans to a three-minute video of her “twerking” along to the song. Her video alone has over 1.5 million views on YouTube.

The Daily Mirror reported that Khalifa’s fame spread further after rapper Drake reportedly hit on her through social media messages. Khalifa refused to reveal exactly what Drake has said to her, but she did state that it was “very rude.” Earlier this year, the Daily Star revealed that Khalifa had decided to retire from the adult film industry. Khalifa indicated that she had been going through a “rebellious phase” and had actually only worked in the industry for three months, quitting over a year ago.

You would be forgiven for thinking that would be the last we heard of Mia Khalifa. However, it seems that some people believe that Donald Trump should appoint Khalifa as the U.S. Ambassador to Saudi Arabia.

Saudi Arabia is one of the most stable countries in the Middle East and is a longtime friend to the U.S. and to many western governments. The country also operates one of the most brutal regimes in the region. Public beheadings are common, and women are severely oppressed by western standards. A petition has arisen on Change.org calling on Donald Trump to appoint Khalifa to a diplomatic role in the country. Petition organizer Dalcolm Rodriguez-Goldstein claims that Khalifa would be perfect for the role.

“Mia Khalifa has a proven track record of bringing people together regardless of cultural background for the betterment of our country and international community.

“She will be a great leader, representing us in the middle east as well as a symbol of the melting pot that is America.”

The petition was started six days ago and has only attracted 3,800 signatures. It is doubtful that Donald Trump will see Khalifa as a potential U.S. Ambassador to such a politically difficult arena, based on a short career in the adult film industry and on the back of a petition with fewer than 4,000 signatures.
