Gwen Stefani Allegedly ‘Obsessing’ Over Miranda Lambert Album: Blake Shelton May Invite Ex To Wedding?

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton began their very public romance when they were coaches on The Voice. Since then, the lovebirds have continued cooing at each other as their love affair has progressed. Now, Blake’s ex-wife, Miranda Lambert, has released a new album, however, and it’s allegedly caused some concern for Gwen.

In Touch Weekly reported that Stefani feels “more than intimidated by” the album released from Shelton’s ex-wife. A source told the media outlet that amid “Gwen’s declarations of love to Blake,” Stefani has been “obsessing” over Miranda’s new album, The Weight of These Wings. The insider also revealed whether Gwen has listened to that album.

“[Gwen Stefani] hasn’t listened to [Miranda Lambert’s album] yet because Blake is currently living at her house in Beverly Hills while he’s taping The Voice.”

As for why that should prevent Stefani from listening to the new music from Lambert, the source claims that he has a “rule” about that situation.

“[Shelton] has a rule that Miranda’s music isn’t played — ever,” said the insider.

So is the situation causing any stress or tension between Gwen and her country music boyfriend when it comes to their romance?

It seems like everything is smooth sailing for Shelton and Stefani despite the alleged issue over Blake not permitting Gwen to listen to Lambert’s album, with Hollywood Life revealing the couple “celebrated Thanksgiving with both their families for the first time EVER.”

Highlights included a “turkey face-off” between Gwen’s father Dennis Stefani and her boyfriend. And to preserve the memorable occasion, Stefani and Shelton struck a pose for a photo with his mom, Dorothy.

When it comes to the turkey face-off, Blake and Dennis cooked up a challenge by each whipping up his own turkey.

“Happy Thanksgiving y’all…Eat, spend time with loved ones, and drink some delicious Smithwork Vodka,” tweeted Shelton.

The media outlet also revealed that Blake and Gwen are involved in choosing their wedding guest lists. In addition to Stefani’s father Dennis and Shelton’s mom Dorothy, Adam Levine, Pharrell Williams, and Jennifer Aniston are reportedly expected to be included on that wedding guest list.

But there’s also a major unknown when it comes to Gwen’s and Blake’s exes. Offering another insight into how Stefani and Shelton feel about Lambert, as well as Gwen’s former husband, Gavin Rossdale, OK magazine via Hollywood Life revealed that it’s still “unclear” as to whether their exes will score invites to the wedding.

An insider told OK that Blake and Gwen are preparing for that much-anticipated walk down the aisle. But even though the preparation for the wedding is “well underway,” it is “unclear” when it comes to whether Miranda and Gavin would be invited, according to the source.

“It sounds crazy, but [Shelton and Stefani] are legitimately considering [inviting Rossdale and Lambert to their wedding].”

So does that mean that Gwen and Blake are on good terms with their exes? The insider clarified that because of their children, Gwen is “still friendly with Gavin.” Consequently, Stefani and Shelton “might ask Miranda, too,” added the source.

“One thing’s for sure: if she shows up, it’ll be interesting!” commented the insider.

Even though Shelton and Stefani have succeeded in cutting down the list of wedding guests, their current invitation plan is impressively lengthy, according to the source.

“At first, it had nearly 700 people on it, mostly on her side,” revealed the insider. “It’s down to around 400 now — and dropping.”

Those celebrities who are “definitely on the list” include “Adam Levine, Pharrell Williams, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, Brett Eldredge, Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman,” according to OK.

Shelton’s buddy and fellow coach on The Voice Adam Levine reportedly will delight guests with “Sugar” for the country music superstar’s and Stefani’s first dance, while the newlyweds will take the stage at their own wedding to perform their favorite song, Bon Jovi’s “Blaze of Glory,” according to the media outlet.
