Tom Cruise Feels Betrayed By Katie Holmes
Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise have not been seen together since their 2012 divorce. Ever since then, the superstar got busy in making world-class movies, and the actress chose to dedicate her time to their daughter Suri.
Katie’s name has been linked with several celebrated artists, but Page Six recently reported that she is currently dating Jamie Foxx. On the other hand, even Cruise’s name was linked with a few artists but the star and his representatives debunked all the nonsense.
When Katie started dating Tom, she was very vocal about her feelings for him. During her candid interview with W Magazine, the Dawson’s Creek actress shared the moment when she fell in love with him.
“I’ve found the man of my dreams,” said then-26-year-old actress. “From the moment I met him, it just felt like I’d known him forever. I was blown away. He’s the most incredible man. He’s so generous and kind, and he helps so many people, and, um, he makes me laugh like I’ve never laughed, and he’s a great friend.”
However, after six years of marriage, it was announced that Katie had filed for divorce and wanted a full custody of Suri. The actress has indeed endured a lot over the years. However, despite all the falls in the relationship and several accused by media and other fans, she has always kept a positive attitude towards everything.
“I don’t really regret anything that I’ve done. I’ve learned from everything, and everything sort of leads you to the next place. I just keep going.”
Katie’s candid statement about her personal life probably shows that she has moved on in her life and shares no bad blood with Tom.
However, things were not always like this.
After their highly publicized divorce, TMZ reported why the former husband and wife are not fond of each other anymore. Their well-placed sources claimed that Tom and Katie have hard feelings for each other, which is why they do not prefer to be friends after their divorce.
“Tom feels betrayed by Katie,” a source said adding that Katie felt, “he sucked the life out of her.”
Prior to this, it was also reported that the former couple does not speak even talk about their daughter Suri.
“They want nothing to do with each other to the point they don’t speak to one another, even about Suri,” a source told the site.
Apparently, this is not for the first time when sources have revealed that Holmes’ post-divorce actions have affected Cruise.
Earlier to this, when the actress was not under media’s speculation for her rumored romances, everyone talked about her public apology to Leah Remini.
The 46-year-old Remini was a member of the Church of Scientology since she was 9-years-old. However, in July 2013, she left the Church citing that their beliefs and practices contradict with many things.
When Remini left the Church, she released her book Trouble Maker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology. In the published memoir, she talked about Cruise and his then wife allegedly dragging her through the mud after she made up her mind to leave Scientology.
After Katie divorced Tom, she reached out to her fellow former Scientologist to ask for her forgiveness. In her public apology, the Batman Begins actress stated that she regrets upsetting Remini in the past, and now she wants only the best things for her.
After her public apology, many reports suggested that the Mission Impossible star was furious over his ex-wife’s actions.
“That one sentence makes it clear how regretful and remorseful Katie feels about her time with Tom and Scientology.”
An insider close to the star went on to claim that this is the actress’s way of getting back at her ex-husband.
“This is the most aggressive she’s been since she blindsided him with divorce papers three years ago. She’s humiliating Tom again.”
