Selena Gomez Arrives In Los Angeles, Is Reportedly Being Cautious About Her New Album

Selena Gomez arrived back in Los Angeles on Monday after spending the Thanksgiving holiday with her family, including her mother Mandy Teefy.

Just over a week after she made her first post-rehab appearance at the 2016 American Music Awards, Selena Gomez has returned home and is reportedly ready to get back to work.

On November 28, the Daily Mail shared photos of Selena Gomez arriving at the Los Angeles International Airport, also known as LAX, while wearing tan pants and a white sweater. As she walked through the terminal, Selena Gomez graciously posed with a fan while carrying a book in one hand and her purse in her other hand.

Before spending time with her mom and family over the holidays, Selena Gomez was reportedly seeking help for issues, including depression, anxiety and panic attacks, at a rehab facility outside of Nashville, Tennessee. As Us Weekly reported in October, Selena Gomez was seen with her mom, stepfather and grandparents during her time at the facility.

Although Selena Gomez has not promised a new album or new movies to fans, a new report has claimed the 24-year-old singer may soon return to work.

“[Selena Gomez] is ready to get back to work but she’s being extremely cautious with every move she makes these days,” a source told Hollywood Life on November 28.

“She’s done a tremendous amount of work on herself and has gotten to a really great place. She only wants to do things that take her forward in a positive direction. She wants to do more films but is determined to only surround herself with good people.”

Selena Gomez revealed she would be taking some time off with a statement to People Magazine in August of this year. At the time, Selena Gomez was in the midst of her “Revival World Tour,” which was supposed to continue on until December of this year when she would wrap up the series with a group of shows in Mexico.

Selena Gomez’s message also came just two short weeks after she and her former boyfriend, Justin Bieber, were involved in an Instagram feud after he posted a photo of himself and Sofia Richie and threatened to make his account private if fans didn’t start being nicer. In response to the photo, Selena Gomez told Bieber to keep his romance private.

After her announcement, Selena Gomez went without being seen for several weeks before surfacing at a Texas Roadhouse restaurant in Alcoa, Tennessee, where she was enjoying a meal with her mom and stepdad. During the outing, Selena Gomez posed for photos with several fans who later shared their snaps on social media.

The following day, Selena Gomez seen at another restaurant in the area with her grandparents.

“I have a lot to be thankful for this year,” Selena Gomez captioned a recent photo of herself and her fans. “I’ve finally fought the fight of not ‘being enough’. I have only wanted to reflect the love you guys have given me for years and show how important it is to take care of you!”

During her appearance at last week’s 2016 American Music Awards, Selena Gomez nabbed the award for Best Female Artist: Pop Rock and during her acceptance speech, she moved many to tears.

“I had to stop. I had everything and I was absolutely broken inside,” she explained. “I kept it all together enough to where I would never let you down but I kept it too much together to where I let myself down.”

Days after the show, Selena Gomez’s mother shared a photo of the two of them, as well as two other family members, on social media.
