Jamie Dornan Focuses On Wife Amelia Warner, ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ Co Star Dakota Johnson Keeps Quiet On Instagram After Thanksgiving 2016
Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson were freed from Fifty Shades filming earlier this summer. Since then, they have parted ways completely despite the pesky dating rumors that followed them throughout the making of the trilogy. While Jamie Dornan is now concentrating on his family and wife Amelia Warner, Dakota Johnson has gone under the radar, deleting almost all the pictures on her Instagram and choosing to remain quiet.
Both the actors knew that Fifty Shades of Grey will bring them up to a certain level of notoriety, but that did not go as they planned. The movie, based on an erotic novel of the same name, not only received “the worst picture of 2015 at the annual Razzie Awards,” according to USA Today, but also won “worst screenplay,” “worst actor,” “worst actress,” as well as the “worst screen combo.”
That’s not the kind of notoriety that Dakota and Jamie were looking forward to.
But now that they have wrapped up filming for the second and the third installment of Fifty Shades, they are concentrating on other things that are perhaps more important in their lives. For one, Jamie Dornan has been concentrating on his TV show The Fall, his two baby daughters and his beautiful wife Amelia Warner.
In fact, just this past week, he accompanied his wife to a premiere of a movie that she worked on.
“Amelia Warner and Jamie Dornan took their date night to the red carpet on Wednesday evening for the premiere of Mum’s List,” reported the Daily Mail. “With the shoe on the other foot, Jamie was supporting his wife this time, as Amelia was responsible for the music in the film. The couple brought some A-list power to the event, which was held at The Curzon, Mayfair in London. Still utterly besotted, Fifty Shades Of Grey actor Jamie gazed adoringly at his wife as she stood out in bold brights.”
The 34-year-old actor also confessed that he wants to be more known for his work in his TV series, instead of the role of Christian Grey.
“I guess there’s a part of me that wants to be recognized for something like my TV show work,” he said in the interview. “The Fall is so engrossing and I threw myself so hard at this project. I get so deep into the heart of this terrible person.”
When he was asked if he and Amelia likes to use some of the BDSM techniques he learned on the set of Fifty Shades, he replied with an answer that possibly brought some disappointment to the die-hard fans.
“No. I’m not into that,” he admitted to News.com.au. “My wife isn’t either. It’s funny. Obviously there’s a huge market for it, a lot of people are into a certain type of sex but I am just not one of those people. It doesn’t interest me at all. So, I don’t think those roles have had any influence over our sex life.”

As Jamie Dornan settles into his family life, it looks like Dakota Johnson is taking some time away from social media. She famously deleted all but one picture from her Instagram account, making her fans wonder if she is taking the route of protecting her privacy, like Jamie Dornan does.
But that does not mean that she is turning her back to Hollywood. She was just featured on the cover of Vanity Fair along with her mother and grandmother, showing the three generations of Hollywood actresses.
“The three generations just made me think about Mom, born in 1930, and me, in the 50s, and Dakota, in the 80s,” Melanie said according to Vanity Fair. “The progression of life is really beautiful.”
Tippi Hedren, Dakota’s grandmother, also mentioned that acting is the last thing that they talk about.
“No, we never even talk about it,” Tippi said. “Isn’t that interesting?”
