Cristiano Ronaldo Gay Rumors: Footballer Responds To Gay Slurs
The Cristiano Ronaldo gay rumors have been circulating for years. The rumors have since resurfaced after the Real Madrid footballer responded to the gay slurs he received while on the field.
Cristiano Ronaldo was allegedly called a gay slur during a match last week. This latest incident involves Ronaldo allegedly responding to those accusations and was telling his teammates that he is a proud “f****t,” according to OutSports. This added to the speculation of rumors that the athlete might be gay.
It all went down during La Liga’s Madrid Derby on Nov. 19. Koke reportedly called Ronaldo a gay slur during the match. Ronaldo, 31, didn’t let the guy have the last laugh as he immediately fired back at his rival, according to Hollywood Life. During the heated exchange, Koke, 24, apparently called Ronaldo a “f****t.”
“Koke called me a f****t,” Ronaldo allegedly said while talking to his teammates after the reported incident, according to Yahoo Sports UK. The conversation was overheard by Spanish radio station COPE. “I said, ‘yes, yes, a f****t,” the champion said. “But a very rich one, s**thead.”
Meanwhile, “the crowd were heard chanting ‘Vete a Marruecos,’ or ‘Go to Morocco,’ in reference to the player’s regular visits to Morocco,” according to Morocco World News. Some also chanted the word, “maricon,” a Spanish anti-gay slur.

Ronaldo has since made headlines for his sexuality. Back in 2015, Spanish daily outlet Sport claims that the former Manchester United and Sporting Lisbon was secretly dating professional kick boxer Badr Hari, according to Naji. It was also implied that Ronaldo has dated a long list of women, which could suggest that he’s either bisexual or straight. The athlete has been linked to Italian model Raffaella Fico, Nereida Gallardo, Letizia Filippi, British actress Emma Atkinson, Russian model Irina Shayk, and Karina Bacchi.
Of course, Ronaldo is known for his long-term relationship with Shayk, who is now dating actor Bradley Cooper. The couple dated for five years until their relationship ended in 2015. Ronaldo has since moved on with a series of ladies, including Georgina Rodriguez. Amid the gay rumors, he was seen covering his face during a recent outing.
According to The Sun, Ronaldo disguised himself in a wig, dark sunglasses, baseball cap, and a hooded jacket for their latest trip to Disneyland Paris. The couple were able to mix in with the other guests at the theme park, although a small crowd did recognize the gorgeous athlete. Ronaldo and Rodriguez were also spotted kissing and holding each other. This was the first time that Ronaldo has been spotted with the brunette beauty, who he reportedly met at a Dolce and Gabbana event in the Spanish capital.

As they walked around the park, the Euro 2016 champ placed his arm around her shoulder. Ronaldo and Rodriguez were also seen on some of the theme park rides together. Ronaldo attempted to hide his face while on a roller coaster. Although little is known about Ronaldo’s latest love interest, the couple is reportedly serious.
Another report via The Sun revealed that the Spanish beauty spent time with Ronaldo’s mom Dolores Aveiro when they watched the Real Madrid footballer play against old team Sporting on Tuesday, Nov. 22. The dancer and model is featured in a photo Ronaldo’s mum posted to her Instagram page showing her surrounded by family and friends.
This revelation comes after Shayk and Ronaldo’s January 2015 split happened because she turned down an invite to attend a surprise 60th birthday party for Dolores. Shayk has reportedly met Cooper’s mom, who she has gotten close to.
