Jax Taylor On Brittany Cartwright Wedding: ‘Pump Rules’ Star Worried About Divorcing!
Jax Taylor has been in a long-term relationship with Brittany Cartwright, and it sounds like his co-stars and co-workers are surprised that he’s been able to keep his girlfriend happy for so long. Before he met Cartwright, Jax was dating and sleeping with several women and the idea of marriage was very far from his mind. But he admits that Brittany has changed his mind, and he’s open to getting married because it’s something that she wants in the future. But there’s still one thing that’s holding him back.
According to a new Bravo report, Jax Taylor is now revealing that his girlfriend has changed his mind about getting married and he is open to the idea of them getting married. But he is now revealing that he’s scared about a divorce because he doesn’t want that on his resume. And maybe Taylor is seeing how the married couples around him are still dealing with drama.

“Before Brittany I was not about marriage. It was not going to happen for me. I didn’t believe in marriage. Not because I didn’t love Brittany, I just didn’t believe in marriage. It just wasn’t for me,” Jax Taylor has revealed about potentially getting married to Brittany Cartwright in a Daily Dish interview, according to Bravo.
Of course, Jax Taylor is known for bringing the drama into the group. While filming Vanderpump Rules, Taylor kept trying to push a rumor that his girlfriend had hooked up with Kristen Doute and he had walked in on it. Both ladies denied anything happening, but Jax thought it was a great story and he was telling it to anyone who would want to listen to him. But sadly, Taylor realized that he couldn’t do that anymore if he wanted to keep his relationship intact. Brittany simply didn’t want her boyfriend to be the person behind the rumors.
And maybe this is what Taylor is realizing, as he’s getting more ready for marriage. But maybe it’s also these kinds of fights that have him questioning whether they could be happily married. It’s no secret that Taylor loves rumors and gossip, and he has been behind many of them on Vanderpump Rules. Maybe he feels he can’t stop and he’s worried that one of these rumors could result in a divorce one day.

“As time progresses, I’m starting to open my mind about it a little bit more because I do love her and that’s something she wants. And I’m willing to bring the idea back. We’ll see. I just hate divorce. I hate it. I’ve done a lot of things in my life, it’s just kind of the one box I don’t want to check off that I’ve done,” Jax Taylor reveals about rushing into marriage, sharing that it isn’t so much a marriage that scares him – it’s the idea of divorce if things don’t work out.
On Vanderpump Rules, Jax said it was too much to live with his girlfriend, work with her and have the same group of friends. Maybe he felt that he couldn’t have his own personal life, but it works for some of the guys on the show.
“The idea of her working with me, at the beginning was good, but when you live together and you work together [and] you hang out together it gets to be a bit much. I love my girlfriend very much, but you know when you spend that much time you start to get some wear and tear. I’ve been at SUR for five or six years now. I feel like the bar is mine. If we do work the same days, she goes in the restaurant. We try to make that work,” Jax Taylor explained to the Daily Dish, according to Bravo.
