Kandi Burruss’ Mother: Mama Joyce Taking Up Too Much Space On ‘RHOA’?

Kandi Burruss loves watching The Real Housewives of Atlanta because her son Ace is currently stealing the show. Everyone loves watching her young son on the show, as he can’t stop smiling and Kandi’s co-stars love seeing little Ace. But Burruss’ mother, Mama Joyce, is also back on the show and it sounds like she has plenty of drama and gossip on her mind. The new season has just started, and Joyce is already talking about some of her daughter’s co-stars behind their backs. And it sounds like some people are a bit too tired of watching Joyce on the show.

According to a new tweet, Kandi Burruss is now defending her mother after her mom got some extra air time on last night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Kandi’s mom tends to say things about the ladies on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, which will get her into trouble. But Burruss doesn’t mind that her mom has a big mouth. And on last night’s episode, she got heated because of Kenya Moore and Kandi’s ex-boyfriend.

“Did she apologize for bring your mother name up in the argument,” one person asked Kandi Burruss, to which Kandi replied, “Yes. Kenya Moore apologized to me & my mom.”

“Oh boy, Block is calling at the WRONG time, within earshot of Mama Joyce!” another person pointed out as The Real Housewives of Atlanta aired last night, to which Kandi replied, “My mom wanted to go in so bad…”

Many viewers feel that Kandi Burruss‘ mother would grab a peach and become a full-time cast member of The Real Housewives of Atlanta if Bravo asked her to be a housewife. Many feel that she’s already a huge part of the show and she just wants more air time. Maybe Mama Joyce really likes to see herself on television, and she seems quite proud when she dishes the drama, no matter how dirty it is. And now people are wondering why Bravo is giving her the platform to dish the tea.

“Again, why does mama Joyce have a confessional?” one person questioned as Kandi’s mother started taking up too much time on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, to which Burruss defended her mother, writing back, “why are u hatin?!”

But it sounds like some people are tired of seeing Mama Joyce on the show, as she’s trying too hard to spread rumors and gossip and a confessional isn’t exactly what people want to see, with one person writing, “I agree. Confessionals are for Peach holders. It’s not hate it just makes sense.”

A few episodes ago, Kandi Burruss‘ mother slammed Phaedra Parks, saying that Parks belonged in the jail cell with her husband. While Joyce didn’t open up about what she was referring to, it sounds like she has no problem dishing the dirt. And Kandi wasn’t too surprised when her mother started dishing the dirt.

“I was thinking, ‘Oh God!’ Any time my family or team says anything about Phaedra, all of Phaedra’s fans get mad at me as if I told them to say it. My family, friends, and team all speak their mind. They don’t hold back,” Burruss revealed in her Bravo blog, sharing that she couldn’t put a lid on her mother even though she was slamming her former friend, Phaedra Parks.

On last night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kandi Burruss told her mother about Riley’s father and the emotional turmoil he had brought upon the family.

“It’s an emotional subject for me. My daughter is special to me. I never wanted her not to have a real father figure, but Block for whatever reason has never really stepped up to be the father Riley deserves. He’s always been very flaky. He’ll call and say he’s going to do better and then you don’t hear from him for months at a time. Riley used to be sad about it, but now she’s just over it,” Kandi Burruss revealed to Bravo.
