Sherri Papini’s Ex-Husband’s Online And Facebook Activity Investigated By Police — Cameron Gamble’s Ransom Video Gets Buzz [Videos]

The case of kidnapped “supermom” Sherri Papini is growing deeper now that Papini has been returned safely to her family. As seen in the following news videos, Sherri is a 34-year-old California mom who jumped out of a vehicle, according to authorities, being found heavily battered and chained to something.

As reported by the Inquisitr, news about Papini’s kidnapping has folks digging into Sherri’s online activities and now defunct or hidden Facebook page in order to try and figure out what may have happened to Papini. Writings on the Internet Archive Way Back Machine have online sleuths asking if the writings authored by “Sherri Graeff” belong to Papini, whose parents’ names are Loretta and Rich Graeff, according to KRCRTV.

Whereas some people on social media have expressed doubts about Sherri’s kidnapping, as seen in the below news reports, authorities are confirming that there is no reason not to believe that Papini was indeed kidnapped.

However, cops are digging into the motives behind the kidnapping, which is noted as an odd kidnapping in the wake of two Hispanic women in a dark SUV being sought in relation to the kidnapping of Sherri. The below video of Cameron Gamble, a man who was retained to negotiate the reward offered for Papini’s return, is also gaining buzz and views.

The next CBS This Morning video contains audio of police recordings that show authorities discussing how heavily battered Papini was when she was discovered on the highway in California on Thanksgiving.

It also notes the questions still surrounding why Papini may have been kidnapped in the first place.

According to ABC News, Shasta County Sheriff Tom Bosenko updated the public about Papini’s plight, telling the media that there was no reason not to believe Sherri’s story about being kidnapped and alluded to the growing doubt about what could have possibly happened to the mom prior to her kidnapping.

Because of the rarity of a 34-year-old mother being kidnapped by other women, and let go after nearly three weeks, the public’s fascination of a motive behind Papini’s kidnapping is growing.

As a result of all the questions, Sheriff Bosenko said that authorities are digging into Papini’s online activities and Sherri’s ex-husband, along with Papini’s cellphone records and cell tower data from the location where Sherri was dropped off. The Sheriff reported that they are in search of two women with a gun in relation to Sherri’s kidnapping.

“We currently have no reason to disbelieve Sherri Papini’s story. She was assaulted and had injuries which she was treated for. [We are] looking for a dark-colored SUV with two Hispanic females armed with a handgun.”

Papini’s case involved authorities not only searching for online activity from Papini that might lead them to a motive behind Sherri’s kidnapping, but also into Papini’s previous marriage and divorce records for clues. A whopping 20 warrants were executed by police in Papini’s case in order to gain security video footage and cell tower information that might reveal what really happened in Yolo County when Sherri was released from her captors.

Sherri’s case has also caused police to seek information in Redding, with authorities tapping into video security footage from a place of worship, houses, traffic cameras, motels and at least one business to determine what information they could glean from the kidnapping of Sherri on November 2 — as well as Papini’s eventual release on Thanksgiving Day.

A mom to two young children, Papini’s kidnapping has become a mystery to folks online who have wondered if previous rantings about problems with Latinos in California belong to the same Sherri who was the Papini found on Interstate 5 in Northern Yolo county on Thanksgiving Day.

More details about Papini are being released as the ongoing investigation continues and the public seeks more information about what really happened to Sherri.
