Miley Cyrus’ Fiancé Liam Hemsworth Gives Her Another Ring After She Claims Engagement Ring Isn’t Her Style

Miley Cyrus recently celebrated her 24th birthday and on her special day her fiancé, Liam Hemsworth, surprised her with a new ring.

After The Voice coach admitted on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that her Neil Lane engagement ring wasn’t really her style, Hemsworth presented her with a new, much more colorful ring for her birthday.

“Happiest birthday to my favorite little angel!” Hemsworth wrote in the caption of a photo of Miley Cyrus holding her birthday gift, which was wrapped with gold ribbon, colored gemstones and a white unicorn.

Around the same time, Miley Cyrus revealed what was in the box to her many fans and followers on Instagram.

Along with a photo of her own, Miley Cyrus wrote, via Brides, “Look at datttt Rainboooowwwwwwww rock! You always know how to make my grubby little kid fingers *SHINE*!!! (P.S. please take notice of that beautiful packaging!!!!).”

Weeks ago, Miley Cyrus appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where she spoke of her engagement ring for the first time since she and Liam Hemsworth rekindled their romance.

“This is really weird because this is like real jewelry and most of my jewelry is made out of gummy bears and cotton candy and they don’t look that good together because they kind of mix up,” Miley Cyrus explained to host Ellen DeGeneres, as revealed by Us Weekly magazine. “So sometimes I replace it with an actual unicorn or a Looney Tune [character].”

“He’s kind of like, ‘What’s going on?'” Cyrus continued of why she doesn’t always wear the stunning ring. “[And] I am like, ‘This isn’t really my aesthetic, but I’ll wear it because you love me.”

In response, DeGeneres joked, “He could have saved a lot of money by giving you a gummy bear ring.”

In addition to her rainbow rock from Hemsworth, Miley Cyrus was also given at least two cakes for her birthday. As the singer and actress revealed on her Instagram page, her family at The Voice presented her with a smiley-faced cake while she later enjoyed a cake that looked exactly like one of her dogs.

On November 27, Foods For Better Health revealed the smiley-face cake given to Miley Cyrus honored her work for her non-profit organization, The Happy Hippie Foundation. In a photo of the cake, the eyes of the smiley-face were replaced by the letters “HH.” As the outlet revealed, the foundation was created by Miley Cyrus “to fight injustice against vulnerable populations, including homeless and LGBTQ youth.”

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth began dating one another as they filmed the 2010 movie The Last Song and two years later, they became engaged. Then, after flaunting her Neil Lane engagement ring on the red carpet, Miley Cyrus and her actor fiancé parted ways — but only temporarily. After the pair was linked to a number of other celebrities, including Jared Leto, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Mike Will Made It, Nina Dobrev and January Jones, they were spotted together once again.

Although Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth stayed mum on their relationship earlier this year after Cyrus was first spotted with her engagement ring back on, Hemsworth did address the issue in a round-about way months into their reconciliation.

“Everyone’s happy,” Hemsworth explained to Entertainment Tonight‘s Jennifer Peros. “I’m happy. Yeah.”

“I just find it’s easier to not talk about my personal life because usually I say the wrong thing, so it ends up just complicating things more,” he continued. “So, I feel like it’s better not to talk about it.”
