Jessa, Jill And The Duggars Make Thanksgiving Peace With Josh Duggar, Jinger And Jeremy Vuolo Still Absent After Wedding

Thanksgiving has been a period of healing and family time for the Duggars this year. With the next season of Jill and Jessa Counting On starting up in early 2017, they gave plenty for the fans to think about as they reunited for a big family bash in the Ozark Mountains. And it looks like Jessa, Jill and the rest of the Duggars made room for Josh to partake this year.

Josh Duggar kicked up a lot of drama for the Duggars when it was discovered that he was on Ashley Madison, a website encouraging extramarital affairs, and that he had addiction to pornography. This got their famed show 19 Kids and Counting cancelled, which brought about a crisis for the Duggars.

Since then, he had finished his program at a faith-based rehab and has been making his return to the Duggar circle. While he has not made his debut on the new family show, Jill and Jessa Counting On, it may only be a matter of time before he appears with his family. He is the eldest in the family after all.

This Thanksgiving was perhaps a perfect opportunity for Josh Duggar to make a public appearance on social media with his siblings.

“Josh Duggar joined his wife Anna, his sisters Jessa and Jill and the rest of his large reality TV family for a Thanksgiving getaway in the Ozarks on Thursday, November 24,” reports Us Weekly. “In images the Arkansas-based family shared via Facebook, the disgraced 28-year-old reality star can be seen joining in on the family fun. One photo shows Josh sitting on the floor next to a sofa packed full of Duggar children and grandchildren — Anna, 28, looks occupied with a toddler on her lap.”

It looks like they had a picture-perfect holiday weekend!

The Duggars also made sure to approve this with a lengthy Thanksgiving message on Facebook.

“Thanksgiving is such a wonderful holiday,” they wrote. “It’s a beautiful day spent with family, food we love and most of all it is a poignant reminder of the many blessings our lives enjoy, for which we should be thankful. This year for Thanksgiving, we spent a few days together with our family in a cabin in the beautiful Ozark Mountains. We’ve laughed together, cooked together, sang together, told fun family stories, played with kids and bounced babies. It’s been a wonderful family time.

The only people missing from their Facebook photos were Jinger and Jeremy, who still may be enjoying their honeymoon in Australia and New Zealand. Their wedding was in early November, and they took off immediately for Down Under, to enjoy some summer weather as the northern hemisphere deepens into winter.

But those who could make it seemed to have a wonderful time, thankful for each other’s presence this holiday season. Jessa Duggar even took the opportunity to post a Thanksgiving-appropriate Bible verse on her Instagram.

Jill took the chance to post a picture of her husband Derick with their baby Israel.

The two sisters, Jessa and Jill, has grown closer over the course of this autumn, sharing the knowledge of babies as Jessa progresses into the seventh month of her second pregnancy.

In the latest trailer for Counting On, Jill used her midwifery skills to see how many babies Jessa has in her belly.

“We don’t know if it’s twins or just one,” Jessa said in the video.

As they listened closely to the heartbeat detected by a machine that they are using, they came to a conclusion that there may be a pleasant surprise in store for the Duggars.

“It could be just one baby with good variability in the heart beat or it could be two different babies,” Jill added finally.
