Rihanna To Perform Final ‘Anti World Tour’ Concert In Abu Dhabi, Will She Meet Up With Ex Lewis Hamilton?

Rihanna is currently gearing up for the final performance of her “Anti World Tour” in Abu Dhabi this evening, where she will be serving as the after-race concert entertainment for the 2016 Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. While fans continue to gush over their favorite “Anti World Tour” moments from Rihanna over the past few months, other fans are curious to see if Rihanna will meet up with former rumored boyfriend, Lewis Hamilton, who was recently named the winner of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix despite losing out on the Formula One world championship to Nico Rosberg on November 27.

Rihanna was previously announced as the closing entertainment act for the Formula One championship earlier this year, thus calling an end to the “Love On the Brain” songstress’ eight-month long “Anti World Tour” that kicked off in March after a few unanticipated delays. While Rihanna has yet to acknowledge her impending performance at the after-concert for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on social media, fans have already begun speculating over whether or not Rihanna’s attendance at the event will lead her to cross paths with rumored ex-boyfriends Lewis Hamilton and Drake, who was also seen partying in up in the United Arab Emirates in honor of the conclusion of the Formula One championship race.

Lewis Hamilton made headlines over the weekend after he successfully secured a first-place victory in the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, only to lose out on the Formula One World Championship title to Nico Rosberg whose second-place victory allotted him five more points than his fellow Mercedes teammate.

Despite Hamilton’s defeat in the world championship, it’s rumored that the F1 racing driver may take part in some of the after-race festivities, including a possible attendance at Rihanna’s closing ceremony performance at the Yas Marina Circuit, thus igniting rumors that Hamilton and Rihanna may cross paths following the conclusion of the “Needed Me” singer’s performance on Sunday evening.

Last year, Rihanna and Lewis Hamilton heated-up dating rumors after the Formula One champ was spotted partying it up with Rihanna during Barbados’ Kadooment Day parade in August, instantly fueling speculation suggesting that the duo may be more than just friends. The dating rumors were further fueled after the duo were spotted hanging out the following day in Barbados while enjoying the sun and surf, although sources close to Rihanna and Hamilton were quick to dispel the romance claims in the media.

“Rihanna is dating now and she hasn’t put a label on anyone,” a source close to Rihanna revealed to E! News of Rihanna and Hamilton’s vacation to Barbados.

“She is still talking to Lewis [Hamilton] and keeping her options open. She is not at any point in her life now ready to settle for just anyone but she is enjoying the time she has with her best friends and also focusing on work,” the source continued.

More recently, Lewis Hamilton awkwardly addressed the ongoing dating speculation between him and Rihanna during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in October, revealing to the television host that he’s remaining “solely focused on [his] racing” rather than his dating life, Mirror UK reports.

“You’ve been with Rihanna,” DeGeneres began while flashing several pictures of Rihanna and Hamilton’s Barbadian vacation on the screen, prompting Lewis to reply with a flat, “Oh really?”

In addition to being quizzed about his rumored romances with Rita Ora and Kendall Jenner, Hamilton insisted that he has remained single in order to focus on his racing career.

“I was in a long relationship. I was in an almost eight-year relationship. Now I’m solely focused on my racing. I’m trying to win this championship this year, which is definitely very trying. No, I don’t really have any plans at the moment,” Hamilton concluded.

While it’s unclear if Rihanna will congratulate Hamilton on his Abu Dhabi Grand Prix victory, other fans are curious to see if Rihanna and rumored on-again, off-again boyfriend Drake may team up for a performance after the “Fake Love” rapper was spotted in the United Arab Emirates over the weekend.

According to one fan site, Drake was seen in attendance at Lionel Richie’s after-race concert on Saturday, prompting speculation that the rapper may join Rihanna for her own concert following the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Grand Prix on Sunday.

Given the nature of Rihanna and Drake’s rumored split, with neither Drake nor Rihanna having addressed the breakup speculation on social media, it appears that fans are all too eager to see whether or not the duo team up for an electric performance of their hit collaborations “Work” and “Too Good,” both of which were included in the setlist for Rihanna and Drake’s respective tours earlier this year.

While Time Out Dubai reports that Drake had been approached as a possible headline act for the after-concert festivities over the weekend, it doesn’t appear that the rapper has plans to take the stage in honor of the F1 race this weekend. Following his attendance at Lionel Richie’s concert on Saturday evening, Drake was also seen hanging out with friends on a yacht at Yas Marina before heading to Cipriani Yas Island later that night.

Rihanna will conclude her “Anti World Tour” concert this evening as the closing performer of the 2016 Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
