The Christmas Swap is a wonderful new original movie that airs on TV One this weekend. Every year, viewers are presented with a few movies to get them in the spirit of the holidays. TV One’s The Christmas Swap is a movie about two brothers who magically switch lives after one of them makes a passing Christmas wish that actually comes true. The Christmas Swap is directed by Jerry LaMothe and written by Rhonda Baraka. It stars Dondre Whitfield as Gerry Craig (Ellis), Christian Keyes as Ellis Craig (Gerry), Stella Doyle as Clara Craig, Diallo Thompson as Junior, Delpaneaux Wills as Paul, Chris Whitley as Josh, Tracey Heggins as Mia, Jaylon Gordon as Eleven, Judd Lormand as Dexter Buchannan, Jael Roberson as Hannah, Nathan Tyler as Seven, Tim Ware as John Wesle, and James Bigwood as Aj.

Movie Synopsis: The Christmas Swap on TV One

When Gerry and Craig Ellis, two brothers with very different lives, wake up to find themselves in a different body, it boggles their minds. But when it is revealed that one of the brothers made a wish to trade places with his brother, it sends them both off on the adventure of their lives.

Ellis Craig wakes up to find that he has been transplanted from his lavish, upscale condo to his elderly mother’s modest home in a rundown neighborhood. He gets the shock of a lifetime when he looks into the mirror and sees that he has turned into Gerry, his unsuccessful little brother who is taking care of his mother.

Meanwhile, Gerry Craig also wakes up in a different body. There is a strange woman in his bed who demands to know why he is such a player. This is a welcome surprise that Gerry readily accepts. After all, his brother, Ellis, is handsome and has all the luck with the ladies.

However,once they get over the initial shock of being magically switched, the brothers start to learn new things about each other. For instance, Ellis is not just a hotshot attorney, he is a compassionate man who always helps his clients from being screwed over by large corporations. And Gerry is not just a loser, he is a loving son who has sacrificed his own life to care for his aging mother so that his brother could have success.
