Less Money, More Problems: Tyga Served On His 27th Birthday
Tyga got hit with the ultimate birthday gift, and no, it was not from his girlfriend Kylie Jenner. The rapper was hit with another lawsuit when he was on his way into a nightclub the other night.
According to TMZ, T-Raww was on his way into the Penthouse nightclub in WeHo when a process server showed up and then served him with legal documents. However, Tyga managed to weasel his way out of the situation, thanks to his security team. The process server was then forced out of the club. As for why the rapper got served again, it could be due to his lengthy list of legal troubles involving his leased vehicles, past landlords, rented jewelry, or something else.

Kylie Jenner knew how to bright up her boyfriend on his big day. The 19-year-old took to Instagram to post two provocative posts of the couple embracing each other. Both Jenner and Tyga were seen rocking the shirtless look with jeans, as the rapper was happily nuzzled between her breasts. Jenner shared the steamy photos confirming that the two are still on.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has also been flaunting her new “promise ring” she got from Tyga a few months ago. The on-and-off couple briefly split back in May, but since reunited over the summer. Kylie and Kendall Jenner sat down with E! News to promote their new novel, Time of the Twins: The Story of Lex and Livia, but the conversation quickly turned personal and made Kylie a little shy about talking about that ring.
“I’m just the same!” she added.
“[Tyga and I] are just chilling.”
Kendall, however, wasn’t going to let her younger sister off the hook.
“We’re just chilling,” she repeated as she raised her eyebrows and pointed to the large diamond on Kylie’s left hand.
“You know … this is just a little promise ring,” Kylie said as she stared down at her ring.
It’s hard to imagine how Tyga managed to afford the ring amid his financial problems and legal battles. The rapper’s reported net worth is $2 million, according to an estimate by Celebrity Net Worth. Tyga, whose real name is Michael Ray Stevenson, earns most of his money from his fashion label and his music career. However, he spent that month excessively, according to Heavy.
“Tyga’s primary problem, then, appears to be spending like it’s five years ago, but earning like he’s still getting fat royalty checks,” according to Starcasm.
Back in 2014, the “Rack City” rapper was making $50,000 per performance. However, he spent most of that money. The rapper loves to show off his luxury vehicles, flashy jewelry, and lavish lifestyle on social media, but has a hard time making rent each month. Starcasm claimed that the only reason why he dated Kylie was for “free rent.” She has reportedly paid off some of his financial problems and bills, as well.
Tyga’s net worth was questioned once again after his Kylie bought him a $300,000 Bentley after his Ferrari was repossessed due to his failure to make payments. This is reportedly not the first time that the teenager has come to her boyfriend’s aid. Tyga is said to be approximately $1,000,000 in debt because of his young girlfriend.
Kylie is said to always save his butt, so he doesn’t go further into debt. Hollywood Life has a theory as to why the starlet continues to put up with the rapper. Tyga has expressed his desire to get married and have children, but Kylie doesn’t want to deal with that right now.
“Recently she had an epiphany that she is way too young for any of that, and she just wants to enjoy being nineteen…She wants to still be with Tyga, but she doesn’t want to take things to the next level right now.”
