Corey Feldman Is Thankful For New Bride Courtney Anne

There’s no denying that Corey Feldman’s life has been a mixed bag of blessings and curses, but he keeps on going. Still pursuing his dream as a musician and offering up a new album that wasn’t as well received as he might have hoped, Feldman inspires his fans to chase their own dreams through his raw determination. Finally, Corey has earned a piece of happiness for himself, as he shares the happy news that he is now married, following a brief engagement to long-time girlfriend Courtney Anne.

Corey Feldman And Courtney Anne Get Hitched Just Days Before Thanksgiving

Mr. Feldman revealed that he married his girlfriend, Courtney Anne, in a Las Vegas ceremony on Tuesday, just days before the Thanksgiving Day holiday. E! News reveals that Courtney, a model originally from Canada, has been performing as a singer and dancer in Feldman’s back-up band in his live performances and on his recent album, Angelic 2 the Core.

Corey and Courtney had only been engaged for little more than a week when they were married in front of 20 guests at Elton Johns Fizz Champagne Lounge at the Caesars Palace Hotel & Casino in Vegas.

The couple were as flashy as fans of Feldman’s live performances might expect. Courtney deviated from the traditional wedding dress, opting instead for a sheer white and gold crop top and matching skirt. She topped off the wedding day outfit with a long white veil.

Corey Feldman was dressed in a more traditional black tuxedo with a yellow/gold bow tie.

Mr. Feldman tweeted the news to his followers on the social media platform.

“C…..I told U all 2Day would b a special 1! #StayTuned #More2Come,” Corey added, after sharing a picture of himself and Courtney Anne at their wedding.

Lost Boys Star Corey Feldman Compares Himself To A Disease: “I Won’t Go Away”

Whether you love or hate Corey Feldman’s music, there’s no denying his courage in putting himself out there in such a vulnerable way and, as Rolling Stone suggests, that alone should earn him respect.

In his first appearance on Today, Feldman went viral, although not out of a love for his music. Instead, the film star turned musician shocked America with his theatrical performances, his “Corey’s Angels,” and his off-the-wall musical style. The shock was only slightly lessened when he returned for a follow-up performance, sharing his next single, “Take a Stand,” and a fevered live performance that sought to build upon the politically charged state of society.

Initially, the negative backlash caused Feldman to feel intimidated and might have compelled a lesser artist to hide away from the public eye, but that wasn’t the case for Corey Feldman.

“I guess I’m kind of like a disease. I just won’t go away. They really wanted to get rid of me, many times,” said Feldman. “But I have a loving and forgiving fan base, who understand me at a very deep level. The Feldfam, they know my heart and they see that I’m here to spread a message of love.”

While most child stars have found it difficult to transition into adult careers, Feldman sees the fame of being a teen icon as something altogether different. He says it’s naturally assumed that, once a star grows out of his teens, he’ll be finished, but instead of letting that define him, Feldman used it as an opportunity to recreate himself.

“Someone might expect my music would suck, but would they suspect it has artistic integrity, or concepts and higher thought processes than your average pop candy? That’s why I started this whole thing, with the concept of Corey’s Angels,” said Feldman. “I thought, ‘Hey, let’s do a concept album about angels, and let’s create an all-angel band of super-talented amazing female musicians.’ On the album we’ve got Kurupt, we’ve got Snoop Dogg, we’ve got Fred Durst. I like giving people what they least expect.”

Feldman hopes to inspire the rest of the world to confront their fears and pursue their dreams, regardless of how harshly the rest of society might resist whatever talent one is pursuing. Corey says he wants to be an example for people about to give up on their goals because they have been attacked and beaten down too many times. Instead of accepting failure, Corey hopes people will look to him and give it that one last try.

“If you can take enough crap from strangers, and if you can have enough people telling you to your face that you suck, and you can brave all that, then you can stand on the stage powerfully and say yes,” said Feldman.
