Luann de Lesseps Desperate To Win ‘Best Hair’ Argument Over Bethenny Frankel

Luann de Lesseps is currently filming the brand new season of The Real Housewives of New York, and one can imagine that she’s excited about getting married in just about a month. Luann and Thomas D’Agostino announced earlier this year that they would be getting married on New Year’s Eve in Miami and she has already revealed that she’s planning on wearing three different wedding dresses throughout the night. And it sounds like de Lesseps has been able to move on from the drama from this season, including the cheating scandal that rocked her relationship. But there is one thing that she wants to do — she wants to win the competition of the best hair against Bethenny Frankel.

According to a new tweet, Luann de Lesseps is now revealing that she has to win the competition for the best hair in a Real Housewives competition. Apparently, she claims that Frankel got the same haircut as her and she wants people to acknowledge that Frankel copied her. Many people didn’t think the haircut was the same, but Luann is convinced that Bethenny copied her and she was flattered by it, even though the ladies fought on this season of The Real Housewives of New York.

“Which housewife gives the best hair each week,” one Twitter account wrote, asking people to vote for the best hair and Luann is now up against Bethenny Frankel once again in the battle of the best hair, to which Luann wrote, “Please give me your vote. It would be hair-raising if I didn’t win! Xo.”

And that’s when one person pointed out that Luann de Lesseps may not win because of what she’s arguing — they have the same hair. On Twitter, the follower wrote, “But you and Bethenny have the same hair, right??”

On this past season of The Real Housewives of New York, Luann had her heads in the clouds after she met Thomas D’Agostino. While she didn’t open up about her relationship at first because of his history with Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan, she quickly became defensive when the other ladies didn’t support her. And in her blog, Luann took clear offense to the drama that played out at Dorinda Medley’s Berkshires home. It really does sound like it would mean a lot for Luann de Lesseps to win this hair competition, as she doesn’t have the majority of the support these days.

“Let’s talk about Bethenny’s hair. Come on! Really? It looks exactly like mine. I’m flattered that she likes my style,” Luann de Lesseps wrote in her Bravo blog for The Real Housewives of New York after the episode aired where de Lesseps accused Frankel of copying her style and not being as original in her hairstyle choices.

“I think that hostesses have a responsibility to manage their guests, so when I talked to Jules on Dorinda’s front porch, I was still reeling from my encounter with Bethenny. I realize now that [Jules] was distracted with her father’s health issues and that I should have been more empathetic to what was going on with her instead of focusing on me, but I was under attack. She’s right, fighting with Bethenny is not life and death, it’s optional,” Luann de Lesseps explained in her Bravo blog, adding, “To Bethenny, I sent a text saying I was sorry if I miscommunicated my role in naming her brand. I was there with her at the time and that is all I was saying. As for Carole, I don’t know what else I can do if she doesn’t accept my apology.”

What do you think of Luann de Lesseps’ public plea to possibly win the best hair competition so she can win over Bethenny Frankel?
