‘RHONY’ Star Bethenny Frankel And New Love Being Harrassed By Her Ex-Husband [Report]

Cutting ties with Jason Hoppy is proving a little trickier than Bethenny Frankel expected. The Real Housewives of New York star’s ex-husband is allegedly harassing her and new boyfriend Dennis Shields. Will they ever get closure?

E! News reports that Hoppy sent harassing emails to Frankel and Shields, who are considering taking him to court. Shields’ attorney penned a letter to Hoppy, describing how the emails have increased in “frequency and hostility.”

Hoppy allegedly sent close to 50 emails to his former wife’s boyfriend over the past two months. Frankel was the original recipient of the messages, though Hoppy made sure to carbon copy Shields.

Hoppy repeatedly slammed the reality star in the emails. He also warned Shields that Frankel is a “revolving door of men” and “he’ll be gone soon.”

Frankel’s divorce from Hoppy lasted several years. The estranged couple, who originally filed back in 2013, finally came to an agreement this year and were thrilled to finally move on with their lives.

“Out of respect for her privacy and the well-being of her daughter, Bethenny is declining to comment,” Frankel’s lawyer explained. “We can confirm that the divorce has been resolved. Our client is ecstatic that this long chapter is over, and she is looking forward to moving on with her life.”

Hoppy’s attorney also released an official statement, saying, “Jason is thrilled that his chapter of his life is over; he is extremely pleased with the settlement that was reached. Jason looks forward to the future and enjoying that time privately with family, friends and most important to him, his daughter.”

Contrary to the statement, Hoppy is clearly having trouble moving on the next chapter. According to TMZ, Hoppy commented on the email scandal and claims that he has to interact with Shields because of his daughter.

“As a concerned father, I often have to contact others when I cannot reach my daughter through her mother,” Hoppy shared. “I have no choice but to have some type of relationship with him.”

Based on Hoppy’s response, it sounds like he isn’t backing down. If he continues to harass Frankel and Shields, then there is a good chance the three will battle things out in court in the near future.

For her part, TMZ reports that Frankel is also mad at her former mother-in-law for notarizing a trust. The reality star is suing Jamie Andrew Schreck, the lawyer oversaw the creation of the 2011 trust for the couple’s fancy apartment. Hoppy’s mom, Carol, notarized the deal even though she wasn’t licensed in New York.

Bethenny Frankel believes the mishap could undermine the trust and lead to its downfall. To get ahead of the situation, the Bravo star is seeking reparations for breach of contract, malpractice, breach of fiduciary duties, and notary misconduct.

Despite all the legal woes, Frankel has done incredibly well for herself over the past few years. During an interview with Forbes, the Skinnygirl mogul opened up about her brand and what it takes to launch a successful product.

“It is important to know your message, identify your customer, and have a clear understanding of how to provide them what they need,” Frankel explained. “As a woman that sits in the bullseye of the demographic we reach, I feel like I have a sense of what women want.”

Frankel has licensed Skinnygirl to a number of different products, including lunch meats, granola bars, shapewear, and even candy. She also gets a small royalty from Walmart and CVS for selling her brand in their stores.

In total, Frankel is worth well over $1 million. Coupled with her savvy business mind, Frankel is well ahead of her co-stars when it comes to business investments.

“She is way out ahead of the other Housewives. They don’t even come close,” Michael Stone, an expert n licensing, stated. “She has developed a brand; the others have not really developed brands.”

In addition to her business ventures, People is reporting that Frankel is planning on adopting a child. After news broke that a five-year-old girl had been abandoned at a New York bus terminal, the RHONY star tweeted, “How do I adopt this child?”

Close friends of the reality star have since revealed that Frankel is “definitely serious about it.” The small child was discovered at the Port Authority Bus Terminal on Monday. Her father is believed to have abandoned her that morning.

“Right before he abandoned her, he told her to wait for him – that he’d come back,” a spokesperson shared. “And he did not, in fact, come back.”

Authorities tracked down the girl’s home in Stamford, Connecticut. Sadly, they discovered her mom was deceased and the father was nowhere to be found.

“Lawyer says once [with] the state a private adoption impossible which is now upsetting me more,” Frankel later wrote. “There’s a misconception that everyone wants an infant. Bc of this rule, babies [are] the only option. Once in the system kids [are] lost. Sad.”
