Katie Holmes, Jamie Foxx Marriage: Tom Cruise Humiliated Again?

Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx are reportedly back together after a major dispute in their relationship. Their three-year on-again-off-again affair has been the talk of the town, and many speculate that Tom Cruise will feel humiliated if the star couple decides to get married.

Earlier this year, Radar Online reported that the Booty Call actor dumped the Dawson’s Creek’s actress after she kept on pushing him to take their relationship public.

“Jamie wants to continue to act like the carefree guy he is in public. Eventually, the question had to come about whether he was committed enough to the relationship,” revealed a source.

Apart from this, many noted that Foxx does not wish to jeopardize his friendship with Cruise and is afraid that Hollywood’s most loved actor won’t handle the news in a positive way. A report from Hollywood Life suggested that the 48-year-old Foxx ended his relationship with Holmes because of Cruise.

“Jamie loves Katie so much and he prides himself on keeping his relationship with her private. That said, if and when he does go there and put a ring on her finger, he’s not going to do it publicly. The last thing he wants is Tom going all Collateral on him. Jamie doesn’t know Tom’s crazy side and he likes to keep it that way. He’s heard war stories from Katie about what it’s like to be his bad side and he doesn’t want that drama.”

When all the reports about her affairs surfaced online, Katie chose to deny her association with any other man after her divorce.

“There’s definitely an awareness of the fact that people have camera phones, and that your privacy is sometimes invaded, but that’s something that I think everyone has had to adjust to,” she said during an interview. “Even early on, when I was a young actor and all of a sudden people knew who I was, my dad told me, ‘Don’t let that change how you live your life.’ I’ve always sort of approached it that way. You have to continue to do the things you want to do and not let outside forces dictate.”

After all the speculations and denials, Page Six’s reliable sources recently confirmed that Katie and Jamie are back together, and apparently both of them are very excited. An insider revealed to the publication that the rumored couple reconciled and have gotten back together earlier this week.

“The actress’ inner circle is thrilled,” confirmed the sources.

Well, if these reports are to be believed, then it won’t be for the first time Tom will feel hurt because of his ex-wife’s decision of moving on in her life.

When Katie was not on the media’s radar because of her rumored relationship with Foxx, or her ex-boyfriend Joshua Jackson, everyone talked about her association with Leah Remini’s controversial book.

The Kings of Queens actress Leah Remini made headlines after releasing her book Trouble Maker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology, in which she talked about Cruise and his wife of that time, for allegedly dragging her through the mud after she decided to quit Scientology.

After Katie’s highly publicized divorce with Tom, she reached out to her fellow former Scientologist to ask for her forgiveness. In her released statement, Suri’s mother stated that she regrets upsetting Remini in the past, and now she wants only the best things for her.

According to reports, the Mission Impossible star was furious from Katie’s public apology.

“That one sentence makes it clear how regretful and remorseful Katie feels about her time with Tom and Scientology.”

Holmes divorced the Jerry Maguire star in 2012 after six years of marriage. An insider close to the stars went on to claim that this is Holmes’ way of getting back at her ex-husband.

“This is the most aggressive she’s been since she blindsided him with divorce papers three years ago. She’s humiliating Tom again.”

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have always preferred to live their individual lives after they both decided to end their six-year-long marriage.
