Shooting At Atlanta Megachurch, One Dead, Police Searching For Shooter
At least one person was shot on Wednesday morning at the suburban Atlanta megachurch run by pastor Creflo Dollar.
The church holds a Wednesday morning service, but officials have not yet revealed if the shooting happened during a scheduled service.
Police are currently searching the area for the gunman whose identity has not yet been revealed.
The shooting took place inside a chapel at the World Changers church in College Park, Georgia.
WXIA reports that CPR was performed on the victim who later died at the hospital from injuries inflicted during the shooting. The identity of the victim has not been revealed at this time.
The megachurch claims to have more than 30,000 members among its congregation.
Creflo Dollar is no stranger to controversy on his own. The pastor recently came under fire after being arrested for assaulting his own 15-year-old daughter. Creflo completely denied hitting his child and was later released.
The megachurch claims various satellite churches around the country including a 6,000 member congregation in New York City.

It's a loaded question… This is like asking if movie's are dangerous after the Aurora, CO shooting. I do not care for religion and I take no part in it, but religion is no dangerous because some wack job shot someone in a church. Church is dangerous because it actually has convinced people that the Bible is literal piece of work and everything in it is 100% factual. It has convinced people that praying is a phenomena and not just "hoping it were so". It has convinced people that their way of worshiping their particular God is the right way and all those who do it differently, or don't worship their God, are going to hell. It's dangerous because people vote based on their religious affiliations and not on actual issues that matter. I could go on and on… but it is not dangerous because someone went ape-sh! t in a church.

Do not like Creflo (money flows into his hand) and Taffy Daffy Dollar. They live in a 8 million dollar house, private chef cooking meals for the entire family, fleet of cars, plane. They live an extrremely luxurious life. Like Mother Teresa asked a business man about his sweater. She asked him what did it cost? And he said, 80 dollars, this was years ago, and then Mother Teresa said, Couldn't you have bought a nice 40 dollar sweater and given 40 dollars to help the poor? I don't think the $$$$'s want to live in a million dollar house, and give up the personal chef. Americans are hurting and starving and need JESUS, not Creflo $$$. Actually, wars are started due to greed and quests for power and control…all of which exist both with and without religion. And, people become radical both with and without religion. It might be comforting or convenient to pick one or two things or institutions to blame for bad things that happen, but reality is seldom that simple. Crimes, wars and atrocities have been blamed on (and "justified" by) virtually every belief, philosophy and institution in the world. It's not the fault of religion, politics, family, business or Santa Clause, per se. They just make convenient sound bites and handy targets for those with an axe to grind.
