Bethenny Frankel Stuck Between Ex-Husband And Boyfriend: ‘RHONY’ Finds Herself Caught Between The Past And The Present
Bethenny Frankel is stuck between a rock and a hard place. The Real Housewives of New York star is caught in the middle of a potential lawsuit. Her ex-husband, Jason Hoppy, seems to be working the nerves of her current boyfriend, Dennis Shields. The two have been battling over emails, and it looks like a court date may be in their near future. After all of the drama Frankel has had with her ex-husband and their divorce being finalized this year, it should be time for her to move on and put that chapter of life behind her.
It seems that because Dennis Shields is spending time with Bethenny Frankel and her daughter, Jason Hoppy feels like he needs to have a relationship with him. According to TMZ, Bethenny Frankel can’t always be reached, so Jason Hoppy feels like he has to reach out to other people in order to get a hold of his daughter. The person he is describing happens to be Shields, and he is not happy about it one bit. This is a messy situation, and Frankel has been dealing with her marriage falling apart for years. Hoppy is reportedly fixated on ruining her relationships, and right now, he certainly has Shields foaming at the mouth.
When Bethenny Frankel returned to the Real Housewives of New York during her divorce, the world got a chance to see just how bad things were. Jason Hoppy was living inside of her condo while she was hotel hopping. Her daughter remained with him for the most part while she was getting back on her feet and returned to filming. Frankel wasn’t dating seriously at the time, but now that she has stepped out and revealed her relationship with Dennis Shields, all hell has broken loose. On top of the constant emails from Hoppy, Frankel and Shields are allegedly also dealing with harassing phone calls. It has become a nightmare, and there is serious bad blood between the two men in Frankel’s life.
It seems that Bethenny Frankel will have to be a part of the lawsuit that Dennis Shields is threatening to file against Jason Hoppy. There have been reports that he sends his ex-wife scathing emails and copies Shields on them. Included in the emails have been insults about Frankel and her appearance. Shields has had enough of Hoppy trashing his girlfriend and will not stand for it any longer. Hoppy commented that the emails are the only way he can reach his daughter at times, and as a concerned father, it is within his rights. He is also using the fact that Shields is around his daughter, stating the two must have a relationship for her sake.
With the Real Housewives of New York currently filming Season 9, it is possible this drama will play out with Bethenny Frankel on camera. She is mainly a very private woman when it comes to her personal life, keeping her daughter away from the cameras. Jason Hoppy has caused a lot of issues for her, and he is still working on making her life difficult. Frankel is lucky to have Dennis Shields in her corner, especially because he hasn’t walked away while all of this drama is happening. Hoppy is going to make sure to make everything hard on his ex-wife, especially since he can see how riled up she gets. As of now, Shields has not officially filed a lawsuit against Hoppy, but it is expected to happen in the near future. Bethenny Frankel has a lot going on in her life, and right now, this drama is the last thing she needs.
