Jennifer Garner And Ben Affleck: The Real Story About Vow-Renewal Rumor [Debunked]
The number of rumors that continue to make the rounds in regard to Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck, often involving a potential rekindling of their relationship and marriage, indicate just how beloved the couple are to their fans. Since the two announced their split in 2015 following nearly 10 years of marriage, the former couple have carried on amicably, sharing parental duties and even residing on the same property. That has led to the hope and belief Jen and Ben would work out their marital differences.
Many ongoing rumors involve Garner and Affleck planning on a fourth child and dating again to keep their relationship alive. The most recent rumor states that not only are Jen and Ben expecting another baby, but they also renewed their vows to one another. However, neither of these rumors are true, according to Gossip Cop. The celebrity gossip-policing site has exclusively determined the actress is not pregnant and that the two are not — and have not — renewed their vows.

Gossip Cop shares the story that was first reported by Star.
“The new cover of Star announces, ‘Jen & Ben Renew Their Vows! She’s Pregnant Again!’ Inside the issue, it’s said, ‘It seems Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck just can’t stay apart. They’ve renewed their vows — and friends say the happy couple is expecting!’ A so-called ‘insider’ is quoted as saying, ‘Jen took Ben back because, against all odds, he made good on his promise to clean up his act and be a better husband.'”
The source added that “their friends now believe that Jen is pregnant, and everyone is buzzing that she already has that special glow.” The story claims that the couple couldn’t be more excited about the future and that Garner “appeared to have a baby bump” while enjoying her most recent outing. The supposed source then states that although Ben loves his daughters, he is secretly “hoping for another boy.”
As for the vow-renewal, it’s been alleged the estranged couple has “reaffirmed their love” with a “hush-hush ceremony” that also featured their three children. The false story claims that the former couple wanted to celebrate in a quiet and intimate way with only their children present.
The source shared, “Jen wore a sweet, simple dress and Ben put on a pair of slacks and a nice shirt. Afterward, she laughed and thanked Ben for making an honest woman out of her. He also surprised Jen with a fabulous, $2.3 million diamond ring. It’s all perfect timing, especially now that their pals think she’s expecting again!”

However, these supposed friends to the pair are entirely mistaken, and Star — known for inaccurate stories — ran the fabricated rumor without bothering to check the facts, GC shares. An Affleck rep spoke to Gossip Cop, stating that the story is “just not true.” The source went on to add that the two do still have love for one another and that their focus is on their children.
“There is lots of love there and they continue their devotion to their kids. And that’s all for right now.”
It has been a whirlwind year and a half for Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, who found themselves in the middle of a media firestorm back in the summer and early fall of 2015. The news was not only focused on the pair splitting but also centered on a story that alleged Ben Affleck engaged in an affair with the former couple’s nanny. “Nanny-gate” ensued even though the allegations were fervently denied by Affleck and his reps. Jennifer Garner finally broke her silence during an interview with Vanity Fair early this year and relayed that the nanny news had nothing to do with their split.
