Ciara Finally Shows Off Baby Bump During AMAs Red Carpet Appearance

Ciara is finally showing! The 31-year-old put her baby bump on full display on Sunday while walking the red carpet at the American Music Awards in Los Angeles. The singer wore a black long-sleeve Stephane Rolland gown that gave way to a black-and-white skirt. The skintight top perfectly fit Ciara’s figure as the mom-to-be placed her hand on top of the growing bump.

Cosmo reports this is the first public appearance Ciara’s bump has made since she announced her pregnancy three weeks ago. Before heading to the award show, she gave her stylist a shoutout on Instagram as she showed off both her gown and bump.

Ciara, who has a 2-year-old son with rapper Future, was radiant as she posed for photos on the red carpet. She said her hair and makeup look was “Bardot inspired,” which may allude to the iconic Brigitte Bardot. Her pregnancy glow took over her glam as it was beyond obvious Ciara is ecstatic over expecting another baby.

Ciara and husband Russell Wilson announced they’re expecting a baby via an Instagram post on her 31st birthday.

“On this special Birthday I received an abundance of love from friends and family.. and I’m excited to Finally share one of the Greatest Gifts of All that God could give…”

The couple, who publicly waited until their wedding night to consummate their relationship, married in July despite drama surrounding Ciara’s custody battle with her son’s father.

Ciara went through a very public custody battle with Future before she dropped her lawsuit against the rapper, reports Entertainment Tonight. She had accused Future of trying to damage her reputation as a mother as he publicly posted negative things about her parenting style in since-deleted tweets.

“This b**ch got control problems. I gotta go through lawyers to see babyfuture…the f**kery for 15k a month.”

However, Future has since shared he only wants the best for his child’s mother, according to Entertainment Tonight.

“If you’re happy, I’m happy. You’re connected for life. I don’t want you to go through this sh** and for it to come back on my son, my kid. I want you to be in the best situation.”

And it does seem Ciara is happier than ever as she prepares to welcome a baby with Wilson.

Ciara opened up about her second pregnancy during an interview on the AMAs red carpet with E! News. She said she’s feeling great as she’s not suffering from morning sickness just yet.

“I’m feeling great. I’m feeling awesome, actually. Finally getting to a place where I feel almost normal. It was a bit of a ‘I don’t want to throw up, but I don’t feel regular.’ I’m in between. That’s almost worse. You’d rather just throw up and get it done!”

As for her cravings, it appears the singer hasn’t experienced any too severe at this point in her pregnancy. She said she enjoys water with lemon and starts her mornings with something healthy, such as an acai bowl, according to People. However, she added she loves to take advantage of eating while she’s expecting.

“Honestly, I eat. I love eating. I enjoy it, and I take advantage of it when I’m carrying! I eat all the food I want to at any time.”

While the AMAs marked the first official time Ciara put her baby bump on display, she had previously stepped out to attend a fashion fund show and tea shortly after announcing her pregnancy.

She obviously covered up her figure a bit more with layers for the event, and fans are glad Ciara finally put her growing baby bump on display during the AMAs.
