Xbox Deals With Gold, Free Games & Black Friday Promos


Gamers on the lookout for new Xbox One or Xbox 360 titles can take advantage of this week’s deals as well as the upcoming free games. Black Friday is also fast approaching, which means lots of discounts for Xbox games and consoles will be in store for gaming fans.

Let’s talk about this week’s Deals with Gold promotions first. Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners with active Gold subscription are up for some enormous discounts (up to 80 percent) until November 28. According to Major Nelson’s post, Xbox One users, via the Deals With Gold, can avail Beyond Eyes for only $3.75, which is 75% less than its original price. The description for the 2015 game, posted on its product page on Microsoft Store’s official website reads the following.

“Beyond Eyes is a modern fairy tale about finding courage and friendship as you carefully guide young Rae on a life changing journey, uncovering an incredible world, step by step. Massive markdowns are also being offered for Xbox One games such as Instant Indie Collection (Volumes 1 & 2), Divinity: Original Sin – Enhanced Edition, Deadlight: Director’s Cut and Dead Island: Riptide Definitive Edition. Meanwhile, Xbox 360 deals include 80 percent discount for Fireburst and Hunter’s Trophy 2 – America as well as 50 percent price off for Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project, Sonic & Knuckles, Sonic & SEGA Racing and more.

Furthermore, Microsoft has just announced the free Xbox games coming in December for Xbox Live Gold members via another post on Major Nelson’s website. Xbox One owners can have their own copy of Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition without spending any dime as it will be free for the entire month. Xbox gamers with Gold membership who want to try out the open-world action adventure video game from Square Enix London and United Front Games can save as much as $30 if they grab it when it becomes free starting December 1.

Another Xbox One title going free next month is the first-person survival horror video game called Outlast. With a typical price tag of $19.99, the Red Barrels video game is scheduled to be free from December 16 until January 15.

On Xbox 360, one of the free games to expect is Ubisoft’s platformer Outland, normally available for $10. It will only be free from December 1 to 15 and will be replaced by Burnout Paradise, a racing video game developed by Criterion Games. Its $0 price tag will be activated for Xbox Live Gold members starting December 16 and will expire after the last day of the month.

But before getting excited about these free games for December, Xbox fans can look forward to amazing deals to be offered this Black Friday. Aside from the assortment of discounts for Xbox games and consoles that will be offered by brick-and-mortar retail stores and online marketplaces, the Xbox Store also have its own set of deals.

Well, actually, Xbox Store is starting Black Friday early as their promos begin today, November 22, which include the most popular and newly-released video games in the lineup. Even more good news awaits the Xbox Live Gold members as they can avail the deals with higher discount rates.

For instance, non-Gold members can save 25 percent discount when they decide to purchase Battlefield 1(released last month) via the Xbox Store while Gold subscribers can have it with 33 percent price markdown. FIFA 1, NBA 2K17 on Xbox One are also on sale. Moreover, Xbox Live Gold members can get Xbox 360’s Red Dead Redemption, Call of Duty Black Ops and Skate 3 for only half of their original prices while the Black Friday promos are ongoing.
