Former Basketball Star NBA Dennis Rodman Charged In Hit-And-Run On Freeway


Former NBA star Dennis Rodman can’t stay out of the spotlight for too long, and now, he has been charged with a hit and run on a Southern California freeway. The county prosecutor has filed misdemeanor charges against Rodman, known in his NBA days as “The Worm.” Dennis Rodman is thought of as a bit of a wild man, on and off the court, who has struggled with drugs and alcohol.

Prior to this latest incident, Dennis Rodman made a video three months ago, explaining the numerous ways he broke his penis through misadventure, says the Inquisitr. He called the video “Three Ways to Break Your D**k Party Legends,” that he calls erectile destruction. In one scenario, Rodman says photos were taken of his broken member, and one of the nurses at the hospital tried using them to blackmail Rodman, who says he simply didn’t care if she did. For all of the pain and struggle that Rodman has been through, he still maintains his sense of humor.

PageSix is saying that Dennis Rodman really messed up, driving on the wrong side of the road, and it ended in a hit and run. It all went down in July in Santa Ana, according to prosecutors.

“Rodman’s SUV was traveling north in a southbound carpool lane around 12:30 a.m., forcing a sedan to swerve into a dividing wall to avoid a collision.”

Dennis Rodman’s lawyer Paul Meyer says that is untrue, and Rodman stopped and spoke with the other parties involved.

“Rodman corrected the driving error without the cars touching, stopped and spoke to people in the other car.”

But police say that Dennis Rodman had no license to drive and gave the police false information. He is facing up to two years in the county jail if found guilty.

The Los Angeles Times says that Dennis Rodman was driving on the wrong side of the freeway when the accident happened, and he no longer possessed a valid license to drive. At this time, Rodman is charged with four misdemeanors.

“He was charged with four misdemeanors: causing a hit-and-run accident with property damage, driving across a highway divider, giving false information to police and driving without a valid license.”

Rodman, who is now 55, will be arraigned in January in Orange County. The record does state that Dennis Rodman did stop and verify that the other driver was not seriously injured. The problem is that Rodman bolted before the police arrived and CHP could speak to him to verify his state of alertness at the time of the accident. Dennis Rodman in known to the police as a person with a substance abuse history.

Dennis Rodman is also known as someone who has a bizarre friendship with North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un.

Asia One says that Dennis Rodman played in the NBA for 14 seasons, and most notably for the Chicago Bulls with Michael Jordan. Rodman was inducted in the NBA Hall of Fame in 2011. Dennis Rodman recently gained added controversy when he backed Donald Trump for U.S. President. The two originally met when Rodman went on Celebrity Apprentice.

Dennis Rodman has taken three trips to North Korea as the guest of its leader, Kim Jong-un. Rodman brought with him a group of former NBA players to put on an exhibition game for the North Korean leader’s birthday. The NBA players played basketball against the North Korean national basketball team.
