Robert Pattinson: Love Scene in ‘Breaking Dawn 2? Is ‘Pretty Ridiculous’

Robert Pattinson, who stars with Kristen Stewart in the Twilight series, had some choice words to describe the vampire on vampire love scene that takes place in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2.

In a recent interview with an Australian talk show, Pattinson said:

“The sex scene in this one is pretty ridiculous. It’s just because you’re kind of shooting stuff to be PG-13… It’s just trying to think of inventive ways to make something sexy. It can’t just be a normal sex scene. It’s supposed to be about, like, the greatest vampire sexyou’ve ever had.”

Due out on November 16, the newest and final installment of the Twilight series will be the first time both Stewart and Pattinson will have a sex scene where they are both vampires.

Pattinson talked about the scene and how both he and Stewart were the only ones in the scene and the only people on set were the film crew and director. He said that the script called for multiple close ups of their faces and that they are supposed to put on looks of sheer “ecstasy”. He then said that everyone on set found the exercise to be quite hilarious.

Pattinson said:

“We’re just sitting there by ourselves. There wasn’t even anyone else in the scene. We’re doing it just to the camera, and the camera man is laughing as well. Guys faces aren’t really designed to do [that].”

The interviewer talked to Pattinson about more than just the Twilight series. He also asked Pattinson what his typical order at Starbucks includes to which Pattinson replied, embarrassingly, a low-cal, half-coffee/half-milk Mistos.

Cast members are on a global promotion tour for the final Twilight movie, which is expected to be a mega hit just like its predecessors.
