‘The Walking Dead’ Season 7 Episode 6 Spoilers: A New Group Emerges [Video]

The Walking Dead Season 7 is making major advancements just before the mid-season break and in Episode 6, titled “Swear,” a new group will be finally making its way to the AMC show that fans of the comic books may recognize.

When it comes to new societies on The Walking Dead, there is usually a love/hate relationship associated with them. Rick and the core Walking Dead group have come across their fair share of ugly situations, but to some degree, they have come out of them mostly unscathed, with the exception of a few body counts.

Therein lies the problem with the next episode of The Walking Dead, according to TV Guide. It would make sense for a new society to pop up, but not one that does not fall under the rule of Negan and the Saviors.

This is the part of the article where we need to give you a spoiler warning. If you have not seen the last episode of The Walking Dead, or if you do not want certain plot points for Episode 7 spoiled for you, then you should only proceed with that spoiler warning in mind.

Episode 8 of The Walking Dead will feature the return of Heath and Tara, both of which haven’t been seen for a quite a long time on the show. They were last seen packing up for a two-week trip to collect supplies and anything else that is deemed necessary for the core Walking Dead group in Alexandria to survive. That was way back when they attacked the Savior compound in Season 6 and they were fresh off the heels of what they thought was a major victory against the tyrannical group.

Fans of The Walking Dead need to keep in mind that Tara and Heath have both been in the dark as to what has gone down in the last two long weeks since they have seen their Alexandria family, according to Entertainment Weekly.

A sneak peek of The Walking Dead Season 7, Episode 8, which is titled “Nothing Left,” shows fans that “Swear” really is just surmising that the innocence of Tara and Heath at this point is only due to the fact they have no idea what kind of carnage has taken place since their departure. Heath feels the torment of having killed the men and women of the Saviors compound and they have no idea that Negan is a real person that has taken on the role of supreme commander for the entire territory they all live in.

Although the details of their journey thus far are vague, it is apparent that Tara and Heath have both come up with mostly nothing to bring home. Tara laments that they need to stay on the road to find more than just food. Medicine is a major point that she makes, but Heath is more concerned with his actions thus far, showing that he now sees the world as “kill or be killed.”

It is unclear at this point if “Swear” will be the episode that The Whisperers make their first appearance, but fans of The Walking Dead comic book know that the group plays a major role in how the area around Alexandria gets shaped in the future.

But what The Walking Dead fans do know about The Whisperers is that they certainly are a group that plays by their own set of rules and abides by those principles for their own survival. They are far from what most might call the normal rules in the ordinary Walking Dead world, but they have certainly survived the apocalypse using them.

Fans of The Walking Dead can tune in this Sunday for all new episode on AMC. Remember, there are only three episodes of The Walking Dead left until they go on their mid-season break. They won’t be back until February after that.
