Kim Kardashian Returns To Instagram, Likes Emotional Post

Kim Kardashian has finally returned to Instagram for the first time since the reality TV star was held at gunpoint in Paris last month, according to multiple media reports.

The Mirror reported that Kim Kardashian made her brief return to the social media website on Sunday, liking a post from someone she follows on the social medium. The inspirational post spoke about not giving up, potentially why Kim Kardashian connected with the image’s words.

“In case no one told you today – you’re beautiful, you’re loved, you’re needed, you’re alive for a reason, you’re stronger than you think, you’re gonna get through this, I’m glad you’re alive, don’t give up.”

The Instagram post is from Racquel Smith, the wife of slain New Orleans Saints player Will Smith. Racquel Smith and Kim Kardashian have been friends for a long time, dating back to when Kim Kardashian was dating Reggie Bush. Reggie Bush and the late Will Smith were teammates, explaining how the two friends likely met, according to People.

Racquel Smith has likely been in touch with Kim Kardashian to help her deal with the tragedy and emotional fallout from being robbed at gunpoint in Paris. Racquel Smith can relate as the former NFL player’s wife was shot at close range following a road rage argument her late husband and the alleged murderer, Cardell Hayes, engaged in over the incident.

While Kim Kardashian returned to Instagram to like the post, the reality TV star has yet to post any pictures of herself as she had in the past. Images she’s shared with fans since the October robbery in Paris have been on her paid website (www.kimkardashianwest.com) and app.

The first real images that Kim Kardashian released to fans since her robbery in Paris was of Halloween. The images showed her and her family dressed up in Aladdin-themed costumes as Kim Kardashian shared intimate moments with children North and Saint West.

The social media blackout has cost Kim Kardashian nearly $4 million in earnings, according to estimates in a recent Inquisitr article. While the social media blackout is self-imposed, law enforcement officials had encouraged Kim Kardashian to do so because being open about her wealth made her an easy target.

Us Weekly reported that the robbery cost Kim Kardashian nearly $10 million in jewelry, items the police believe will be hard to recover. The robbery in Paris made Kim Kardashian realize that changes were needed in her life, according to an unnamed source.

“She realizes she was living in a bubble doing what she was doing. She loved flaunting her wealth and being so public. She felt safe and never really thought about her vulnerability. Now she knows she was so naive. Everything has to change going forward.”

Kim Kardashian did not limit her changes to implementing a social media blackout. While the reality TV star does not blame her security detail team for the robbery in Paris, Kim Kardashian made a change in security guards, according to Fox News.

“Kim 100 percent does not blame Pascal [Duvier, her former body guard]. Kim put Pascal with [sister] Kourtney that night… He was let go because they are bringing on an entirely new team.”

Reportedly, Kim Kardashian was not upset with her former bodyguard. Those rumors appear true as Pascal Duvier already landed a new role, TMZ reported. Kim Kardashian gal pal Fergie hired the former Kardashian security team member as Pascal Duvier was seen at Fergie’s new music video shoot recently.
