Iggy Azalea Reveals More Than Just Her Implants In ‘GQ’

Iggy Azalea has been named GQ Australia‘s “Woman Of The Year” as reported by AOL.

But the 24-year old Australian rapper revealed more than just her sultry figure. As reported by Mashable, Iggy Azalea made sure to thank her “award winning vagina” in her acceptance speech as well.

“Thank you so much. I didn’t realize everyone was going to have such hilarious speeches and I didn’t prepare anything this week. I just want to give a big thank you to GQ for this award. I’ve won a lot of awards over the last few years, but this one means the absolute most to me because I can finally say I have an award-winning vagina.”

The photo shoot did give readers a glimpse at her recent breast implants, of which she is quite proud of. She revealed to E! Online last year about her decision to get the elective surgery after being asked what she would change about her body if she could.

“I did change something: Four months ago, I got bigger boobs! I’d thought about it my entire life,” she said, admitting she was sick of having to put padding in her stage costumes. Initially, Azalea swore not reveal the work that was done, “but then, I decided I wasn’t into secret-keeping.”

The racy photo shoot and award ceremony certainly is a change of pace for the Grammy nominated artist, whose been dealing with several personal issues since the release of her first hit single “Fancy” in 2014. After her initial success, she became public enemy number one in rap community after getting into it with rapper Azealia Banks on Twitter. Banks was furious that Azalea was a success and claimed it was due to the color of her skin and not her skills. Snoop Dogg, Q-Tip and even R&B singer Erykah Badu joined in on the beef, as reported by the Mirror. Badu went on stage at the 2015 BET Awards to slam Iggy, calling out her music as “definitely not rap.”

Professional struggles aside, Azalea has also been dealing with personal issues as of late that included her now ex-fiance Nick Young cheating on her with his ex girlfriend Keonna Green. The impact was felt in the music world as Iggy delayed the release of her sophomore album Digital Distortion, as she revealed to People.

“I needed a lot of time,” she said before matter-of-factly detailing her predicament. “I mean, you wake up one morning and your fiance is having a baby with someone else, you’re going to need some time, right?”

Finally, her woes have made their way down to her native Australia as a judge on the country’s version of X-Factor. Fellow judges Adam Lambert and Guy Sebastian both have blasted Iggy over claims of “diva-like” behavior on the set of the hit music contest.

“She shows up late, you never know what you’re going to get with her,” Lambert said during an appearance on the Australian morning show Sunrise. “It is never boring. I will tell you that. There were couple of times where I was like, ‘Girl, where the hell are you?'”

Guy Sebastian, another judge on the series, also lodged similar “diva” complaints at Iggy Azalea, as reported by the Daily Mail.

“We’re just not similar people at all and I definitely have to bite my tongue. I’ve said a lot of things in my head.”

So after all this, it’s good to see Iggy Azalea still keeping her humor despite her hardships. And with Digital Distortion set for a January release date, perhaps 2017 will be the return of Iggy Azalea.
