Drake, Chris Brown Feuding Again, Rihanna Not Happy

Chris Brown and Drake are rumored to be warring again, drawing the attention and ire of former flame to both hip-hop heavyweights, Rihanna.

All the drama commenced after Brown recently took to social media to taunt Drake in the wake of his captured, on live TV run-in with NBA star Kevin Durant. The two recently bumped heads after Durant lead his Golden State Warriors to a 127-121 win over Drake’s beloved Toronto Raptors on “Drake Night” at the Air Canada Centre.

As Durant engaged in a postgame interview, Drake wondered past and delivered a seemingly not-so-playful shoulder bump to the much bigger Durant, eliciting an icy stare from the All-Star forward and ultimately a “I don’t give a damn about no Drake Night” retort.

Soon after that, Brown interjected himself into the madness in the form of a series of posts on Instagram that included one of his associates mocking the “Started At The Bottom” rapper and Brown following that up with a not so veiled gang reference and perceived threat of physical harm.

It was enough to have Drake shook and Rihanna speaking out.

“Whatever the case may be, Drake’s worried,” said a source described as close to the rapper. “Chris is known to pop off on people at the drop of a dime and surrounds himself with people from the wrong side of the tracks. Drake’s going to be taking extra precautions when he’s in LA.”

While it was the 30-year-old Drake being hit with the perceived threats, Rihanna’s greatest concerns seem reserved for Brown.

“Chris Brown has been doing so well and keeping his a** out of trouble and Ri’s been so proud of him up until he banged on Drake,” a member of her crew told Hollywood Life. “She’s disappointed Chris is still affiliated with those people and can’t believe he’s throwing up gang signs for the world to see. She would have hoped that Royalty (young daughter) has humbled him and taught him that he has bigger responsibilities and priorities.”

Brown and Drake have a violent history that dates all the way back to a 2012 New York City bar fight that ended with police called and Brown needing several stitches to close a deep gash to his chin.

Reports are the brawl started after Drake and his crew of at least 15 rejected Brown’s peace offering in the form of a $2,000 bottle of Ace of Spades champagne and Drake instead had a note delivered to Brown taunting him about Rihanna.

Several others were also injured in the wild and bloody melee, including one of Brown’s bodyguards who suffered massive head injuries.

Fast forward to the present day, and the 27-year-old sultry singer is now rumored to have her own issues with Drake after yet another recent breakup followed by widespread reports he is currently working on new music chronicling their stormy history and latest breakup with Taylor Swift.

“There will definitely be some digs at her,” a source said of the duo’s upcoming collaboration. “He’s hoping that this will get under her skin.”

Indeed, Swift has a well-known history of penning such songs and is now rumored to be recording songs about exes Calvin Harris and Tom Hiddleston. In the past she has released songs about former boyfriends Joe Jonas and Harry Styles.

Brown and Rihanna also infamously had their own issues, with him ultimately be placed on five-years probation and ordered to serve six-months community service for a physical attack on her back in 2oo9 when both were in Los Angeles for the Grammy Awards. The couple later tried giving things another shot, but split again after just a few months in 2013.
