‘Love & Hip Hop New York’ Season 7 Super Trailer Promises More Baby Mama Drama, Cheating, And Fighting

Season 7 of Love & Hip Hop New York is set to premiere on Monday and with that comes the VH1 super trailer, giving fans a full six minutes of the upcoming episode to see just how ratchet the newest installment is going to be.

The long trailer begins with Yandy Smith, who is still waiting on Mendecees’ return from prison. There are rumors that Mendecees’ other baby mamas are plotting to gang up on Yandy and put her in her place. The drama gets so intense that one of the baby mamas’ mamas ends up having an ambulance called because they think she is having a heart attack.

Cardi B is back and Season 7 of Love & Hip Hop New York might be her last. The stripper turned reality star turned mega star made it clear after the last season that she might only have one more in her. Now, with a role on Being Mary Jane, it’s pretty certain that Cardi has outgrown the reality TV spotlight.

It looks like Cardi also walked away from her boyfriend in jail that everyone would remember from Season 6. Based on the previews, none of her newfound fame has stopped Cardi from causing a commotion as she steals a taken man and causes a ton of drama. Cardi even snatches her own wig off as she gets ready to fight the girlfriend of her new man.

Mariahlynn is another newcomer to Season 6 who has returned for Season 7. She may be tiny but Mariahlynn packs in the drama and will be taking on pretty much anyone that steps up to her. Basically, nothing has changed, not even her candy-colored hair.

Kimbella is back in for Season 7 and she brought Juelz Santana with her. Kimbella was a big deal during Season 2, but ultimately left LHHNY and returned in Seasons 3 and 5 as a guest star. Felicia Pearson is also joining the cast for Season 7. She was best known for playing “Snoop” on The Wire. Now we’ll get to watch her try to navigate a relationship with girlfriend JuJu and from the way things are looking now, it won’t be without tons of arguing and drama over whether Felicia can be trusted.

Some major drama revolves around Peter Gunz but this time around it has nothing to do with Amina Buddafly and Tara Wallace (even though they are both back for more.) It looks like the Creep Squad is about to implode when Mariahlynn inserts herself into the drama between Cisco, Rich Dollaz and DJ Self. Leave it to Peter to come through and do some damage control.

Remy Ma made herself comfortable in front of the Love & Hip Hop New York cameras. On Season 7, the trailer suggests that she and Papoose are still going strong but they are struggling to get in sync with work, home, and family.

There is plenty of drama brewing as Season 7 of Love & Hip Hop New York gets ready to premiere. Most recently, Cam’ron took to social media to let his fans know that despite being showcased in the LHHNY teaser, he is definitely not a cast member on the VH1 show.

“Good evening, everyone. I am not a cast member on ‘Love & Hip Hop,'” Cam’ron said on Instagram. “I did a scene for Juelz. Cause he’s on the show. I did a scene for Juju cause she’s on the show.”

Cam’ron also talked about the possible legal problems that VH1 and Viacom might face after putting him in the commercial for Love & Hip Hop New York.

“I should not be in anybody’s commercials,” the rapper said. “Especially when the paperwork isn’t done. Obviously, these people haven’t done business with me before, so they don’t know how I get down. But tomorrow we’ll take care of it.”

It looks like there’s already plenty of drama and Season 7 of Love & Hip Hop New York hasn’t even started yet. Will you be watching the VH1 reality show on Monday? Sound off in the comments below.
