Rangers will try to win and grasp the second spot when they welcome Dundee at their home this Saturday.

Currently occupying third position on the table with just twenty points, Rangers seem gradually falling behind in the title race. They are eleven points behind league leaders Celtic. So, this a must-win Saturday match if they hope to lift the trophy for the first time since 2010.

Dundee, meanwhile, remain on the pen-ultimate place with 12 points. They have managed to win last two matches, which has instilled hope in them to survive the relegation this year.

Rangers drew their last match 1-1 against Ross County. Had they won that match, they would have been on second position of the table. The Light Blues had won the match 2-1 when these two sides met in the first half of this season.

Dundee boss Paul Hartley suggested that, unlike last time, his team is ready to face the Scottish powerhouse Rangers this time.

He said, as reported by Daily Record, “We have to keep it tight. We didn’t give ourselves a chance that day.

“When you go into these kind of venues you have to make sure you are nice and solid and that you stay in the game.

“We need to start the match well and hopefully we can do that.

“That game is gone now. It’s a different group of players, different personnel, but what I will be stressing to them is the need to go to Ibrox and start well.

“We are feeling better about ourselves after recent results.

“When you win games then the training for that week is always good. The training over the last fortnight has been good.”

A good sign for manager Mark Warburton is that most of his players are ready for action. But striker Joe Garner seems to have lost his touch in recent games which is surely a big concern for Warburton. Another forward, Waghorn, may replace him as a starter in this game.

Centre-back duo Kiernan and Hill will take up the responsibility to resist the opponents attack once again.

No reports of injuries have been reported, which is a good news for Dundee fans. Manager Paul Hartley will have plenty of options to choose from his fit squad.

Forward Haber, who scored the winning goal in the last match, will be vital for Dundee if they are to defeat top dog like Rangers.

Dundee have won two consecutive league matches, so things are finally getting better for them. Manager Hartley will be glad to reprise the winning squad.
