Blac Chyna Paid $1 Million To Film Dream Kardashian’s Birth [Report]
Blac Chyna allegedly received a $1 million payday to have E! cameras film the birth of her and Rob Kardashians’s daughter Dream Kardashian.
According to reports, Blac received the seven-figure sum of money to have cameras for her and Kardashian’s reality series Rob & Chyna in the delivery room on November 10 and allegedly made $1 million just from giving birth to her and Rob’s baby girl.
That’s according to Radar Online, who’s claiming that Chyna made the extra cash by positioning the upcoming episode of the reality show as a special episode, which will air separately to the debut series which wrapped after six episodes on October 16.
An insider alleged to the site this week that Blac managed to earn herself an extra $1 million in addition to the amount she’s already been paid from starring in Rob & Chyna, claiming that the extra seven-figure sum actually came as a bonus to the reality star as she was not initially contracted to invite the cameras into the delivery room to film Dream’s birth.
According to Radar Online’s inside source, Blac purposefully made sure that the birth episode of Rob & Chyna was billed as an extra episode, ensuring that she was entitled to another pay day in addition to the six episodes of the Keeping Up With the Kardashians spinoff, all of which have already aired on E!.
“The baby special is an extra episode for Rob & Chyna and she got another payday out of that,” the insider alleged of Blac’s money making skills, adding that the Dream Kardashian birth special is set to air on E! on December 18. “[Blac] was pregnant with the baby when she inked the deal for the spinoff, so she made sure that she got extra for the birth and everything else,” continued the source of Blac.
The site’s Kardashian insider also went on to add that Chyna is making some serious cash since she joined the Kardashian fold, revealing that by putting her life on display on reality TV, Blac is reportedly making more money per episode of her reality show than actors on some of the most popular sitcoms.
“Chyna is making more than seasoned actors at network TV show, just for being herself,” the site’s insider confirmed of Blac’s serious baby pay day, and it sounds like Blac is certainly making the most of her lucrative opportunities and flashing the cash.
“Blac Chyna just bought a new Rolls Royce with her own money,” the source told the site of Blac’s money spending habits now that she’s dating Rob Kardashian, which Blac recently showed off on Instagram, posting a shot of her new wheels alongside two bottles of luxury Moët & Chandon champagne.
Blac has yet to officially confirm that she made a huge $1 million from giving birth to Dream, though reports have long alleged that Chyna ensured Dream’s birth was viewed as an extra outside of her Rob & Chyna contract, with sources claiming that Rob Kardashian’s mom Kris Jenner could have been behind the lucrative business deal.
Radar Online previously claimed that Jenner saw serious dollar signs when Blac and Rob revealed that they were expecting baby Dream, and allegedly took the money reins to ensure that her daughter and son-in-law turned their baby news into serious cash.
“[Kris] knows how to make sure they get paid for every little thing and to make sure their show is super profitable,” an insider revealed earlier this year, while People also confirmed that Jenner was ready to cash in on her new granddaughter and make even more money.
“Kris is loving the news from a financial perspective,” the site reported of how Jenner was preparing to cash in and make money after Chyna and Kardashian announced they were expecting. “She sees this as an amazing media opportunity and financial gain for Rob.”
The money reports also come just days after sources revealed that Kris is still hoping to cash in on Dream, claiming that Jenner is allegedly now looking to “use” baby Dream by giving her some serious screen time on Keeping Up With the Kardashians to help boost fledgling ratings.
The special Dream Kardashian birth episode of Rob & Chyna is expected to air on E! on December 18.
