Gwyneth Paltrow, Chris Martin Reuniting After Consciously Uncoupling?
Rumors are circulating that Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin could be getting back together. Reports claim that the actress wants to give things another shot with her ex-husband.
Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin finalized their divorce three months ago, but rumors suggest that the couple might want to get back together.
“Both Chris and Gwyneth have tried and failed to move on… she really misses his companionship,” an alleged inside source told Radar Online. “They might have had a bohemian marriage, but it worked. She’s beginning to regret pulling the plug. She and Chris actually had it pretty good.”
After their shocking split, Martin dated Jennifer Lawrence and Paltrow dated Glee producer Brad Falchuk. Lawrence and Martin have since ended their short-lived romance. Martin is now reportedly dating Annabelle Wallis. Although Paltrow and Falchuk are currently dating, the source says she might want to end her relationship in an effort to reunite with her ex-husband.
“After countless fights with Brad over the fact that he refused [to] divorce his ex-wife for her, the last straw came in September, when Brad ditched Gwyneth’s Mexican birthday vacation. Since then, the two have not attended one formal event together! And now that Gwyenth and Brad have pretty much fizzled out, she intends to talk to Chris into giving the relationship another go.”
Paltrow and Martin were married for over 10 years and have remained close friends as an effort to co-parent their two children, Apple, 12, and Moses, 10. After consciously uncoupling back in 2014, the couple has finally made an effort to finalize their divorce. The couple’s divorce was legally finalized over the summer.
“I sleep in his house in Malibu a lot with the kids,” Paltrow previously told Glamour. “We’re still very much a family, even though we don’t have a romantic relationship. He’s like my brother.”

So, are the rumors true? Is Paltrow really considering getting back together with Martin? A source told Hollywood Life that the reports about them getting back together are “not true.” In addition, Gossip Cop can confirm that Paltrow is not dumping Falchuk for Martin. The outlet was told that Radar Online’s report is “complete nonsense.”
Gossip Cop has debunked a series of Radar Online reports about the actress in the past. The outlet has previously debunked the rumors that Paltrow was offered $1 million to join The View. Gossip Cop also debunked the rumor about Paltrow being rude at an EMA Awards ceremony. There was no truth to these rumors, and it appears that there is no truth to this latest rumor.
Though Paltrow is in a relationship with Falchuk, she told Glamour that she doesn’t always feel the need to be in a relationship.
“I’ve always been very independent. Even in relationships, I’m focused on the quality of my life and not enmeshing myself so much with somebody else’s experience. But I think there’s incredible value in being married.”
When the 43-year-old was asked about getting married again, she didn’t seem so sure. “I don’t know. I guess so. I mean, I believe in marriage. But I’m not even divorced yet! So give me a minute,” she added.
Paltrow was married at the time of the interview, but that’s no longer the case. While she is not going back to Martin, she might change her mind about her relationship status with Falchuk. She previously explained to Matt Lauer on Today how the phrase “consciously uncoupling” came about.
“I unwittingly created a whole sorta hoopla with my choice of words,” she admitted. “It wasn’t my words actually. I was sort of following a theory.”
Paltrow also stated that she has more of a brother-sister relationship than a romantic relationship with Martin now. The tabloids are the only ones who want them back together.
