UFO Sighting News: Strange Objects Flew By 2016 Supermoon

UFO sightings are nothing new. In fact, too many of them have been reported around the world since time immemorial. It’s also true, however, that a large number of them were deliberate hoaxes, or were caused by a natural phenomenon we can’t explain yet. But to see a UFO on the night of the Supermoon? That’s special.

Such was the case with one supermoon watcher, who managed to capture a one-minute footage of two mysterious UFOs while taking videos of the full moon in Surprise, Arizona on Saturday, November 12, as previously reported by Mirror.

The video, which was posted on YouTube, shows two objects flying by the moon within a span of several seconds. The man who filmed the video claimed that he used a NexStar 6se telescope and a Sony HandyCam to capture the UFO sighting.

The camera man named Rondomon on the video sharing site, said that the objects had distortion surrounding them.

Scott Waring, a famous blogger who regularly reports UFO sightings on UFO Sightings Daily, shared his thoughts about the UFO sighting, calling it “odd.”

“A UFO in orbit that has a haze mist around it. The object is solid, because if it was transparent, we would see the light of the moon through it,” he said. “I believe that the field around it is due to the alien propulsion because the haze has been seen in thousands of UFO photos before.”

A large number of commentators seem to agree that the flying objects seen in the video are UFOs. An Anonymous commentator claimed that she also saw a UFO pass by the supermoon from Phoenix, Arizona.

“While stepping outside to take a look at the Supermoon, I also witnessed a UFO in orbit around the bottom left of the moon. Seen from a naked eye, with no telescope, it appeared to look exactly like the video posted above. I could see what appeared to be a black dot flying or passing around the front of the moon for minutes at a time. My boyfriend explained it to look as if it was a little black ant crawling on the moon. So strange but very real.”

As is the case with every UFO sighting, some skeptics provided theories that could explain the phenomenon, with many of them saying that the two objects spotted in the video were “Helium balloons.”

One viewer even commented that the two objects that flew by the moon were possibly leaves.

“You can tell what you caught on film was way too close to be in space because the focus was way off. So, by all accounts, it is the definition of a UFO, but it really just looks like a leaf blowing in the wind,” he wrote.

Rondomon then posted a comment to clarify that he never said that the objects were in space or that they flew by the moon. He even acknowledged the possibility that they could be balloons as suggested by some. But he said that he found it rather odd that the two objects captured in the film flew by only seconds apart of each other. He also said that the objects “flew pretty straight for a leaf, and two blowing seconds apart on the same path.”

Another commentator said that the two objects shown in the video were probably satellites.

“Most likely satellites, out of focus. Speed looks about right, rotation of the objects look right. Projection from the edge of the objects would be more than likely the antennae of the satellites,” he wrote.

The supermoon on Monday was the nearest and brightest the moon has been to Earth since 1948.
