Melissa Gorga Hopes Time Will Heal All Wounds: Optimistic For Friendship With Jacqueline Laurita?

Melissa Gorga has picked her side in the fight between Teresa Giudice and Jacqueline Laurita, and it sounds like she’s standing by her family members. When this season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey aired, Melissa decided to stand by Teresa and put all of their issues aside. In fact, Gorga revealed that she was ready to forget all of the pain and struggles that Teresa put her through last year, so they could have peace in the family. But with the return of Jacqueline Laurita, it was hard for Gorga to put everything on the shelf.

According to a new tweet, Melissa Gorga revealed that she hopes that time will heal all the wounds between the ladies. While Gorga doesn’t have any issues with Teresa Giudice, she knows that some friendships are broken beyond repair. While Giudice has made up her mind about not staying friends with Jacqueline, it sounds like Gorga wants Laurita to heal a bit.

“That’s a wrap. Maybe time will heal all wounds. There is enough craziness going on in this world. Friendships should be easy. Love you all,” Melissa Gorga revealed on Twitter on Sunday night, as The Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion special aired on Sunday night on Bravo.

And it sounds like Melissa got plenty of support, as one fan reached out to her, saying, “You said it! If people can’t be friends with you, they have something wrong with them because you’re the best!”

During the Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion special, Melissa Gorga hinted that she was completely done with Laurita. She even warned Dolores Catania and Siggy Flicker about Jacqueline, sharing that she had warned them about her, and they should run for the hills. With that comment, it doesn’t sound like this is a friendship she wants to save.

In her blog, Melissa Gorga revealed that her husband was the voice of reason during the Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion special. While the ladies kept yelling at one another, Gorga revealed that her husband pointed to love, trust, and honesty in friendships.

“Joe didn’t say too much at the reunion, but the few words he did say hit home for me. It’s true, it hurts your heart when it’s family. When you fight with family it affects so many other people, not just who you are in the argument with. I’m not saying I don’t get disappointed or upset when I argue with my friends, but there is a difference,” Melissa Gorga revealed in her Bravo blog for The Real Housewives of New Jersey, sharing friendships should be easy, and her husband had a point about the situation with Jacqueline.

The husbands of the wives have also been affected by the drama this season. Chris Laurita has revealed that he’s supporting his wife no matter what, and he has decided to distance himself from Joe Gorga and Joe Giudice. While this is heartbreaking for him, he also adds that he’s open to something in the future, adding “never say never.”

But Melissa doesn’t seem as eager to forgive Jacqueline as too much has been said and done. Instead, she wants to focus on her relationship with Teresa.

“I agreed to forgive and move forward with Teresa. When I did that, it wasn’t only for me, it was for my husband, my children and my in-laws. It’s unfortunate that I felt a lot of pressure from others to go against that promise, but I refuse to keep rehashing the past, and I am not going to break that promise for anyone,” Melissa Gorga writes in her Bravo blog for the show, sharing that she’s excited about the future with her sister-in-law by her side.
