Gwen Stefani Gushes Over Boyfriend Blake Shelton, Says He Kissed Her Back To Life

Gwen Stefani attended Glamour magazine’s Women of the Year event in Los Angeles on Monday night, November 14, and during the event, she was honored as one of four of this year’s top ladies.

After walking the red carpet along with her fellow celebrities, including Ashley Graham, Demi Lovato, Zendaya Coleman, Ariel Winter and Simone Biles, Gwen Stefani, 47, took to the stage, where she thanked those close to her for sticking by her in recent years.

“I just want to say thank you to my parents for that gift of faith. I want to say thank you to everyone who ever listened to my music,” Gwen Stefani told the crowd as she choked back tears. “I am so honored and grateful.”

According to Hollywood Life, Gwen Stefani then mentioned her children, Kingston, 10, Zuma, 8, and Apollo, 2, and her boyfriend, Blake Shelton, whom she’s been dating for over a year.

“To my children, to my family, to Blake Shelton for kissing me back to life, thank you so much,” Gwen Stefani continued. “I am blown away, I’m blown away by this room of unbelievable courage. It’s unbelievable to be here tonight.”

Gwen Stefani’s boyfriend was in the audience at the event, and as Stefani thanked him for being around, he showed off a proud smile.

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have been extremely busy in the last year due to their new albums; Stefani’s This is What the Truth Feels Like and Shelton’s If I’m Honest; their touring schedules, and their duties on The Voice, but all the while, they have remained close to one another. When they are on the road, they are frequently seen together, and they’ve even taken the stage at one another’s shows in recent months.

Throughout their relationship, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have been targeted with rumors of a wedding and just days ago, a source claimed they would be tying the knot on May 5, 2017. Although Gwen Stefani hasn’t yet debuted an engagement ring, nor has her engagement to Shelton been confirmed, OK! Magazine claimed the couple’s wedding invitation had been leaked and revealed their plans to wed at the Church of the Good Shepard, a Catholic church in Beverly Hills, California, where celebrities, including Mark Wahlberg, Elizabeth Taylor, Frank Sinatra, and Judy Garland were wed.

“[Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton] are reportedly putting down deposits and nailing down a star-studded guest list for their alleged, $3 million nuptials,” Hollywood Life revealed to readers last week. “[OK! Magazine] says the couple narrowed down the guest list from 700-400 people. And, we can expect to see Adam Levine, 37, Pharrell Williams, 43, Jennifer Aniston, 47, Courteney Cox, 52, and many MORE celebs, according to the mag. There are even reported talks of their exes — Gavin Rossdale, 51, and Miranda Lambert, 43 — being invited to the lavish event.”

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale were married for 13 years before they suddenly split in August 2015 after welcoming three children together during their marriage. Meanwhile, Shelton had been married twice before his relationship with Stefani, and his latest marriage was to fellow country singer Miranda Lambert, with whom he split from in July of last year.
