Blac Chyna Seeks 70-Lb Post-Baby Weight Loss: Her High-Protein Low-Carb Diet & Fitness

Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian welcomed their baby girl into the world just days ago. But now that Dream, as they named her, has arrived, Blac is already turning her attention to how to take off the weight that she gained during her pregnancy. After reportedly gaining more than 70 pounds, Chyna is ready to restore her post-baby body.

Hollywood Life revealed that Blac used Snapchat to share her determination following Dream’s birth on November 10.

“About to get this body back right,” vowed Chyna in the Snapchat video.

Although Blac reportedly gained more than 70 pounds during her pregnancy, she was “determined to take it easy and eat whatever she wanted during her pregnancy,” according to the media outlet. But now that Dream has arrived, Chyna is done with indulging and into diet mode, a source told Hollywood Life.

Blac found motivation close to home because Rob’s sister Kim Kardashian succeeded in taking off her own pregnancy pounds after she welcomed Saint West into the world, according to the insider. The source also revealed that Chyna chatted with a chef as well as several trainers regarding her post-baby body.

“She wants to have a banging body when she makes her triumphant return to making club appearances.”

As for support from Rob to take off the pounds, Kardashian shared a photo of the two and his own vows on Instagram.

“Oh yeah we snapping back lol… baby will be here in 4 weeks and I’m done with carrying this pregnancy weight,” vowed Rob.

Chyna had her post-pregnancy diet planned long before her baby was born, according to OK! magazine. Determined to restore her pre-baby body and look “hotter than before,” Blac gave herself only 12 weeks to shed the weight, revealed a source cited by the outlet

“Blac’s determined she’s going to lose the baby weight quickly and has given herself a timescale of just 12 weeks to be back into her size 8 clothes.”

When it comes to the exact fitness that Chyna reportedly planned to follow, it’s intense. Her daily workouts called for an hour-long regime, including weights, pole training, and 240 squats, according to the insider. As for her diet, it’s all about a farewell to junk food, hello to high protein, low carb food choices, shared the source.

“She’ll be cutting out the junk food too and following a high-protein, low-carb diet — she loves jerk chicken salads,” commented the insider. “Her focus is on getting toned and making sure her bum is bigger and better than before.”

As for the proud papa, Kardashian is the recipient of concern from his mom, Kris Jenner, according to Hollywood Life.

Having her son become a father hasn’t stopped Kris from stressing about him, and the media outlet revealed that Kris is “still nervous for his health — most specifically his depression and weight loss issues.” But Jenner reportedly believes that becoming a daddy might help Rob, an insider told Hollywood Life.

“Kris hates seeing Rob struggle with his weight and depression…she hopes that this will be the door that opens into Rob becoming healthy.”

In addition, Jenner is hoping that achieving fatherhood provides Kardashian with “the impetus for him becoming the man she always has hoped he would become,” added the source, clarifying that Kris wants her son “to realize that this is what life is all about.”

As for how Chyna gained the weight during her pregnancy, she indulged in “cheat day” treats in the weeks leading up to the birth of the baby, according to Hollywood Life’s insider.

“Chyna and Rob are going buck wild — on the food that is! Everyday is a cheat day for them until the baby is born.”

The source shared that the couple had agreed they could eat “whatever the hell they want,” from KFC to In & Out.

When it comes to getting guidance on that low-carb, high-protein diet that Blac reportedly will be following, Kim Kardashian may be able to help. As the Inquisitr reported, Kim used a low-carb diet to shed 70 pounds and restore her own pre-baby baby.

Earlier this year, however, the Daily Mail reported that since starting his romance with Blac, Rob had shed 40 pounds. His diet reportedly cut out red meat as well as carbohydrates. Kardashian also headed to the gym five times every week, and Chyna worked out together with him.

And despite those alleged cheat treats just before the baby was born, Blac worked out and ate clean during part of her pregnancy, according to ET.

“Hey guys, so I decided that I’m actually going to start working out, and here I am! Back at it. Snap back,” Chyna shared on social media. “I started eating more clean and walking.”

Blac also was candid with her followers about her pregnancy weight gain.

“So I weighed in I’m 183lbs, and loving it! So far I gained 48lbs,” Chyna shared at one point in her pregnancy. “My goal weight after the baby will be 130lbs — I was 135lbs b4 the baby. I truly believe I will be 200lbs when I delivery that’s 17lbs away.”
