Ross Harris was found guilty of the intentional and brutal murder of his infant son, Cooper according to Radar Online. Ross Harris left Cooper in a hot car on June 18, 2014.

He spent the day sexting multiple women on the phone. Just minutes before getting out of his car he wrote a chilling message to one of the women he was talking to that morning.

“I love my son and all but we both need escapes.”

The jury, consisting of six men and women debated for just 21 hours over the course of four days before returning the guilty verdict.

Jurors considered the testimony of 70 witnesses and 1,150 pieces of evidence, including the Hyundai where Cooper died in the suburban Atlanta parking lot.

The defense’s key witness was Harris’ ex-wife and Cooper’s mother, Leanna Taylor.

“Cooper was the sweetest little boy. He had so much life in him. He was everything to me.”

Taylor described Harris as a very “involved” parent who loved their son and that the only possible explanation could be that he “forgot” Cooper in the car.

Ross Harris was found guilty on all eight counts, including.

“Malice murder, felony murder, 1st degree cruelty to children, 2nd degree cruelty to children, criminal attempt to commit a felony/sexual exploitation of children and two counts of dissemination of harmful material to minors.”

During his case, a prostitute and six other women testified against Justin Ross Harris saying that they were having sex with and sexting with Ross Harris in the months, weeks, and days leading up to the murder of his baby son.

Ross Harris even told one of the women that if his son Cooper had not been born, he would have left his wife, Leanne, by then.

“If [Cooper] wasn’t in the picture, I probably would have left L by now.”

Investigators claim that Ross Harris was living a “double life” of sorts. To his friends, family, and coworkers, Justin was a loving husband, father, and all-around good guy.

People had no idea that Harris was living this underground life talking to multiple women, including two underage girls, had many sexual encounters in public places, and paid for sex with a prostitute.

Witnesses at the scene testified in court that the father was acting suspiciously- he was not crying or calling 911 to help his son- while a few people had tried to help and revive the baby boy.

The defense attorney, H. Maddox Kilgore, tried to fight Harris’ case by saying that his sexual behavior and marital issues had nothing to do with his son’s death.

“The state wants to bury him in this filth and dirt of his own making, so that you will believe he is so immoral, he is so reprehensible that he can do exactly this.”

The attorney argued that Cobb County police investigators had focused on theories and ignored the actual evidence.

“You have been misled throughout this trial.”

Ross Harris looked straight ahead and showed no emotion as the verdict was read.
