Drake & Rihanna To Detail ‘Bitter’ Breakup In Rival Diss Tracks? ‘At War’ After Split

Drake and Rihanna called it quits last month after dating exclusively for several months, but it sounds like their split may have turned nasty and could serve as the inspiration for two potentially scathing diss tracks.

According to reports, both Rihanna and Drake are allegedly considering putting each other on blast with their new music in the wake of their October breakup, meaning that their once-close friendship could be on its way out.

Hollywood Life first alleged that Rihanna has been thinking about dropping a diss track following her and Drake’s breakup and could potentially team up with Drake’s nemesis Meek Mill to take aim at the rapper.

The site recently claimed that Rihanna had been eyeing Meek for a duet, that could potentially be a pretty scathing diss track aimed at Drake, for a while, despite the rappers being locked in a nasty feud for years.

According to an insider who spoke out to the site about Rihanna’s alleged planned diss track, the “Love on the Brain” singer “definitely wants to put things in action” with Meek on a potential Drake diss track and is attempting to “get some studio time with him and brainstorm on a collaboration.”

Rihanna and Mill have not confirmed the reports, although Meek and Drake have notoriously been caught in a scathing feud for years, with Mill once again dissing Drake as early as last week after the two seemingly reignited their feud once again.

But it’s not just Rihanna who could be about to launch a diss track at her ex. Urban Islandz reported that Drake could also be looking to throw some serious shade in Rihanna’s direction following their breakup.

An insider revealed to the site that Drake has been writing music about his and Rihanna’s breakup in the month that’s followed their split and will more than likely release music detailing his “heartbreak” in the not too distant future.

“One of the tracks will delve into some heartbreak s*** with a recent relationship,” a source told the site of Drake’s upcoming new music but did not explicitly confirm to the site if the relationship in question is Drake’s recent romance with Rihanna.

“It’s a deep and dope joint,” continued the insider, alluding to Drake potentially slamming Rihanna by adding that the rapper’s alleged diss track “will give a different story from what you’ve been seeing circulating over the past couple weeks.”

The site’s source then went on to comment on how Drake’s relationship with Rihanna is doing post-breakup after Rihanna failed to attend Drake’s 30 birthday party last month, telling Urban Isladz that things have now turned “bitter and tense” for the exes before adding that they both have “unfinished business.”

Neither Drake nor Rihanna have officially commented on the potential diss tracks detailing their breakup, although Urban Islandz reported last month that Drake may actually have already taken aim at Rihanna in his new music.

The site claimed that Drake appeared to allude to his breakup with Rihanna in his new track with 21 Savage “Sneakin'” seemingly referring to their October split and rapping that he and his ex are now “at war.”

“Face time with my shawty on tour and she texting purple hearts cause she know we at war,” the site revealed that Drake raps in the track, seemingly of Rihanna. “I don’t need love I’m the goat. I just hit the beat and float and I’m selling out arenas, but you putting on a show.”

While Drake has yet to confirm that “Sneakin'” is about his and Rihanna’s breakup, the Shade Room confirmed fans were quick to speculate that Rihanna was the “shawty” in question, capturing screen shots of Drake fans leaving purple heart and champagne bottle emojis in the comments section across Rihanna’s various Instagram photos.
