Meijer Black Friday 2016 Ad: Will Tech Sales Deals Rival Best Buy, Target, And Walmart?

The Meijer Black Friday 2016 ad has leaked online recently, just in time for comparisons with some of their bigger competitors in the electronics retail space. With Best Buy, Walmart, Target, and Amazon all fighting for Black Friday shoppers, Meijer is a national chain that tends to get overlooked. However, they are still offering some enticing deals in their leaked sales advertisement that could draw customers into their stores around the United States.

It was reported on Friday by BGR that this year’s Meijer ad features a variety of deals for their holiday sale that span from Thanksgiving through Saturday of the Black Friday shopping season. Among those deals on Thursday will be a Vizio 50-inch LED TV for just $199.99, an Element 55-inch Smart 4K UHD TV for $279.99, a Fitbit Charge 2 for $129.99, and Beats Solo 2 headphones for just $99.97. On Friday, the retailer will offer different deals including a Vizio 60-inch Smart 4K UHD TV for $599.99, a Nintendo 3DS Super Mario Edition portable game console for $99.99, and the Sphero BB8 Star Wars Droid for $99.99.

Meijer will also be offering a reduced price on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 video game consoles that seem popular this holiday season. They’ll have the PlayStation 4 500 GB Uncharted Console Bundle, the Xbox One S Console or Xbox One Console Bundle for $249.99 each. Of note, a recent deal shown inside the GameStop Black Friday ad offers the PS4 bundle along with the customer’s choice of a second game for the same price.

The Meijer stores are only located in certain regions of the country. Just a few states in the country that have Meijer store locations include Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, and Indiana. Their 2016 Black Friday sale is advertised to start on Thursday as of 6 a.m. in stores with different deals on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The full sales advertisement for their three days of deals can be seen at the Meijer.com website.

As of this report, Black Friday 2016 sales ads have leaked from many of the biggest retailers around including Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. Each of these retailers is trying their best to lure customers with their sales deals. For example, Walmart’s Black Friday sale has a $298 Phillips 55-inch 4K Ultra HD TV, a Roku Express for just $25, select DVDs for under $10, and a Straight Talk Apple iPhone 5S prepaid smartphone for just $99.

Target also has some great deals listed in their recent ad including a $249.99 Hisense 50-inch Ultra HD TV, Powerbeats wireless earphones for $89.99, Fitbit Charge HR for $89.95, and the iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus with a free $250 Target gift card. Target will also be giving shoppers a special Black Friday presale on Wednesday, November 23 where they can take advantage of grabbing some of the deals online, while supplies last.

Best Buy is another electronics retailer that many shoppers love to buy from around this time of year. Among their best Black Friday deals will be a Toshiba 49-inch Class LED 4K Ultra HD TV with Chromecast built-in for just $199.99. There’s also a 55-inch Samsung Class 4K Ultra HD TV for $479.99, a Dell Inspiron 15.6-inch Touchscreen laptop for $349.99, and the Amazon Fire 7-inch tablet for just $33.33.

For those who may want to be extra savvy with savings this holiday season, an article from WPTV presents some potential good advice. They mention that last year’s Cyber Monday deals actually topped those on Black Friday showing that patience may be rewarded. The report also suggests that customers have more online information at their fingertips than ever before in the form of leaked ads, email notifications, websites, and, of course, mobile apps to help track any new deals or sales details.

Will you be shopping at a Meijer store for any deals this Black Friday, or going with one of the other retailers for your shopping needs?
