ESPN NFL Week 10 Predictions, Picks, And Schedule: Redskins, Falcons, And Cowboys Viewed As Consensus Winners

NFL predictions and picks for Week 10 from the experts at ESPN are now here, and there are quite a few interesting games scheduled for the weekend. While there is still a lot of football to be played this year, certain teams are in desperation mode this week. In addition to the predictions by the experts at ESPN, the latest NFL odds from Vegas Insider were also used as reference points. Here are a few of the notable games.

Minnesota Vikings at Washington Redskins – WINNER: Redskins

After starting the season with a record of 5-0, it looked like the Vikings were going to be the favorite to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl. While they still have one of the strongest defenses in the league, their lack of talent on offense has shown in recent weeks. They now have lost three straight games, but they are still in first place in the NFC North.

The exact opposite can be said for the Redskins. After a poor start to the season, they now have a record of 4-3-1. While they are still a few games behind the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC East, Kirk Cousins has been playing some great football in recent weeks. It is going to be extremely difficult for the struggling Vikings to win on the road against a team that is currently playing better football than them. This game should be close, but seven out of nine ESPN experts believe the Redskins will win.

Atlanta Falcons at Philadelphia Eagles – WINNER: Falcons

After starting the season with a record of 3-0, it looked like the Eagles were going to cruise to an NFC East title. While they are not officially eliminated yet, last week’s loss to the Giants may have ended any hope of competing for the division. Rookie quarterback Carson Wentz is playing like a rookie, and rookie head coach Doug Pederson is making his fair share of mistakes. Despite the game being in Philadelphia, the Eagles defense is going to struggle against the Falcons offense. Quarterback Matt Ryan is playing like an MVP this year, and wide receiver Julio Jones is as good as ever. The Falcons should have this one salted away by the start of the final quarter, and seven out of nine ESPN experts believe they will win this game.

Dallas Cowboys at Pittsburgh Steelers – WINNER: Cowboys

With a record of 7-1, the Cowboys are the biggest surprise in football. While rookie quarterback Dak Prescott was expected to be adequate after a strong preseason, no one could have predicted just how good he could be. Running back Ezekiel Elliott has looked like the best running back in football, and even average wide receivers like Cole Beasley are contributing. As usual, Jason Witten has provided a strong security blanket, and the offense is running on all cylinders. While Tony Romo is probably ready to return, it is unlikely that Prescott loses his job.

The Steelers come into the game with a record of 4-4, but they are probably better than their record. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has not been healthy the entire season, and it has shown in the offense. Regardless, the Steelers have some of the best weapons on the offensive side of the football in the NFL, and they are bound to get hot again. Either way, it is probably not going to be enough this week. Five out of Nine ESPN experts believe the Cowboys will win this game on the road.
