‘RHONJ:’ Teresa Giudice & Melissa Gorga’s Friendship Fake? Reconciliation Exposed As A ‘Scam’

Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga made up after years of drama on Season 7 of the Bravo show, but now they’re being accused of faking their reconciliation.

Radar Online is claiming that Teresa and Melissa, who are sisters-in-law as well as co-stars on the New Jersey version of the housewives show, allegedly haven’t actually made up at all, despite the united front their putting on for the show and are supposedly still feuding behind the scenes.

“It’s not true,” an RHONJ source told the site of Gorga and Giudice’s friendship on the reality series, which appeared to become strong once again after the family members famously feuded for the past four seasons of Real Housewives of New Jersey.

“[Giudice and Gorga’s] relationship is a scam,” continued the insider, claiming that Teresa, who buried the hatchet with her brother Joe Gorga’s wife after returning home from her almost year-long prison sentence last December, still “can’t stand Melissa” and is supposedly pretending to get along with her Real Housewives of New Jersey co-star “for the family.”

Teresa and Melissa are yet to confirm or deny reports suggesting that their relationship isn’t actually on great terms like it appears on the show, though Real Housewives of New Jersey fans have also been quick to accuse the sisters-in-law of faking their friendship for the cameras, particularly after the two put on a united front during the Season 7 reunion following their feud.

“Melissa can fake it, but she still doesn’t trust Teresa. Melissa is acting,” social media user @VanreyRey wrote on the 140-character site of their reconciliation.

“Everyone knows Teresa started the stripper rumor. #rhonj.”

“Teresa & Melissa are so fake,” Real Housewives of New Jersey viewer @shortz27 tweeted out on the social media site of Gorga and Giudice’s seeming reconciliation, claiming that Melissa was “using” Teresa because she “needs the relationship to get ahead” now both are locked in a nasty feud with co-star Jacqueline Laurita.

“Teresa is not a nice person… she’s fake and her whole relationship with Melissa is fake too,” @jessica11222902 added, and @maggieemayy1 continued on Twitter, “Poor Teresa is always a victim. I don’t see the friendship with her & Melissa lasting [because] it’s not genuine. They [are] fake friending each other.”

After a whole lot of drama on the past several seasons of Real Housewives of New Jersey, Gorga and Giudice grew suddenly close again during Season 7 after Teresa returned home from prison.

Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga’s relationship only appears to have grown stronger in front of the Real Housewives of New Jersey cameras in the episodes that have followed, and the sisters-in-law continued to have each other’s backs during the first part of the reunion on November 6, despite accusations that Giudice’s newfound friendship with her sister-in-law is fake.

Giudice previously spoke out about her and Gorga’s friendship reconciliation prior to the premiere of Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 7 back in July, telling People that she and Melissa are now “right back where we always were” before their nasty feud boiled over back in Season 3 and played a main storyline in the seasons that followed.

“We’re past all the drama and we’re back to how we always were,” Teresa said at the time of where she stands with Gorga after years of RHONJ feud drama between the two, seemingly confirming that her and Melissa’s friendship has survived past filming for the show, which ended earlier this year.

“Everything is amazing,” Giudice continued, claiming that fame is what tore the two apart and started their feud, despite she and Gorga feuding on Real Housewives of New Jersey over a number of issues including Melissa claiming that her sister-in-law started rumors that she used to be a stripper.

“Fame got in the way,” Teresa said of their past feud that played out on RHONJ.

“I don’t know if everyone knows that but it’s really exactly what happened.”

“I always accepted Melissa when she came into the family with open arms, and that’s it,” continued Giudice.

“It’s just back to how it was.”

Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 7 airs on Sunday nights on Bravo.
