Calvin Harris And Taylor Swift Bury The Hatchet, Singer Makes Peace With Ex

Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift may have finally buried the hatchet and made peace with each other if the insider reporting to rumor mags is to be believed.

According to E! News, an insider close to the “Blank Space” singer said that she and ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris have patched things up and she’s even ready to write a song about their relationship, minus the jabs and scathing remarks.

Harris, 32, and Swift, 26, started dating in March 2015 and ended their relationship in June 2016, but their parting was mired in controversy when Swift immediately found love in the arms of British actor Tom Hiddleston.

Rumors sprung up that Swift cheated on Harris with the Avengers star when a video of the two dancing together earlier this year at the Met Gala came out.

At the time, Swift was still dating Harris and when they ended their relationship, it only took Swift two weeks before she cozied up to Hiddleston.

TMZ even tried to get Harris’ reaction about the quick rebound, asking him if Swift cheated on him with The Night Manager star.

Harris simply said that it was all good and that it didn’t bother him at all, but insiders said that he was angry at the thought that Swift may have already been pining for someone else when they were still dating.

It didn’t help quash the rumors that he was angry when Harris released his single “My Way,” which somehow alluded to the end of his relationship with Taylor Swift.

The video of the song featured Harris singing about a failed relationship and even though he never mentioned Swift in the lyrics, the song and the video had fans of both the Scottish DJ and the American singer believing that he was referring to Taylor Swift.

Although, all of that may seem moot at this time because it seems that the two musicians have decided to make peace and move on. E! News, said a source close to Swift says that the singer/songwriter has patched things up with the Scottish DJ and there’s no more bad blood between them.

The source said that Swift was exchanging messages with Harris earlier, and it seemed that they were able to leave all their troubles in the past and make peace with each other.

Harris even posted a message of thanks to his former girlfriend when a song they worked on together became a hit.

According to the Daily Record, a fan of Rihanna posted a message on Twitter congratulating the Barbadian singer and Harris for their efforts on the song “This Is What You Came For.”

Harris wrote the song, along with Swift, and Rihanna provided the vocals and according to the fan, it was the only song to be released in 2016 that was certified 2X Platinum.

When Harris saw the message, he re-posted the tweet and added his own message of thanks not only to Rihanna, but also to his ex-girlfriend, Taylor Swift, for working with him on the song.

Swift also looks like she’s letting go of the past when an insider said that she’s back to recording a song about her relationship with Harris, but not in a jaded way. The “Bad Blood” singer/songwriter is famous for penning songs about her relationships that often paint her previous boyfriends in a bad light.

But according to the insider, she doesn’t intend on writing anything nasty about Harris or Hiddleston seeing that she’s made peace with both men. The source said that it’s more likely that Swift will write something positive about Harris and Hiddleston, seeing that she somehow maintained an amicable relationship with the two men after their relationships ended.

Hiddleston and Swift ended their relationship in September but according to sources close to the singer, she had no ill will against the Thor star.
