Josh Altman On Not Inviting ‘MDLLA’ Co-Stars To Heather Bilyeu Wedding, Madison Hildebrand Explains ‘WWHL’ Absence

When Josh Altman’s Aspen wedding to Heather Bilyeu aired on Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles on Thursday night, four people who weren’t shown taking part in the festivities were their co-stars Josh Flagg, Madison Hildebrand, David Parnes, and James Harris. Were they not invited or were they all simply too busy?

Right after the airing of the latest episode, Josh A., Josh F., David, and James appeared on Andy Cohen’s talk show Watch What Happens Live. During the talk show, there was a bit of an awkward moment when a viewer called in and asked if any of the other guys were invited to Josh A.’s wedding and if they got him and Heather a wedding gift. James immediately said that he wasn’t invited to the wedding nor did he give the couple a gift. Yet James, showing that he has no hard feelings about the invite snub, quickly added that he and his wife do wish Josh the best and want to congratulate him on his marriage.

“I wasn’t invited to Altman’s wedding, and I didn’t get Altman a wedding gift. But we do wish him the best and congratulations.”

With a smile, Josh A. joked that he forgot to invite James, David and Josh F.

“I knew I forgot three people. That’s who it was.”

James followed along with the joke.

“Oh what a shame, I thought it got lost.”

On a more serious note, Josh A. explained that it was a small wedding with just friends and family present. Apparently, Josh A. and his co-stars aren’t friends in real life.

“It was a very personal wedding. It was just friends and family.”

Host Andy Cohen then read another viewer’s question asking Josh A. if he ever considered getting Madison a gift or inviting him to the wedding since he was the one through whom he met Heather. Josh A. said that he does thank Madison for introducing him to Heather. Josh A. then maintained that he currently doesn’t have a problem with Madison, that he’s past the drama and that he wishes Madison the best. As for whether he ever considered extending Madison a wedding invite, Josh A.’s silence on the actual question seems to indicate that the answer is no.

“Great, great question so somebody asked if we ran into Madison would we still have beef with him? Not at all. And I do thank him for that [introducing me to Heather] ’cause when you look back that’s how I met Heather. We’re way past that. That was years ago, and I wish him all the best.”

As shown in an early Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles season, Josh Altman met Heather Bilyeu several years ago when she worked as Madison Hildebrand’s assistant. After Heather and Josh A. began dating, her friendship and work relationship with Madison soured. Eventually, Madison fired her.

On season 8, when Madison returned to the show, Josh A. accused him of ripping Heather off of a commission when she worked for him. As the Inquisitr reported, after the episode aired in November 2015, Madison explained his version of what happened, saying that he let Heather go and didn’t give her the commission because she lied about taking a co-listing with Josh A. behind his back and because of the fact that her relationship with Josh A. created a conflict of interest. Madison accused Heather of fabricating a story and bringing Josh A. into the drama.

In an interview with The Daily Dish in June 2016, Heather denied that she went behind Madison’s back.

“Part of his thoughts, when our relationship was dissolved, was that Josh and I were trying to snake his clients and do something shady. And nothing like that ever happened. And so, you know, it’s just frustrating that he thought that so badly of me at the time and hopefully now he’s seen that it’s just paranoia at the time and it is what it is. We’ve both grown and [are] in good places.”

The current ninth season shows that while things between Josh A. have become more civil, they’re still not friends. Are things between Josh A. and Madison actually still so hostile that Madison refused to appear on Watch What Happens Live with him on Thursday night? As it turns out, Madison was out of the country. On Thursday, Madison posted a photo that shows that he’s in Mexico for a wedding.

In response to a viewer who left a comment on another photo asking him why he wasn’t on Andy Cohen’s talk show with Josh Altman, Josh Flagg, David Parnes, and James Harris, Madison Hildebrand replied that he’s in Mexico.
