Hallmark Channel brings you Christmas Cookies, an inviting new movie that will roll out this Sunday as part of the channel’s “Countdown to Christmas.” Hallmark’s Christmas Cookies is about a small town’s devastation over learning that their one and only cookie shop is closing. It stars Jill Wagner and Wes Brown, according to Buffalo News.

Synopsis: Christmas Cookies on Hallmark Channel

The Upstate New York town of Cookie Jar is home to the best cookie shop in the city. But now Aunt Sally’s Christmas Cookie Company is in trouble. It is on the verge of bankruptcy until Hannah, a New York City executive, comes into town to take over the company by buying out the new owner, Jake.

Jake used to be a hotshot attorney but is now working in the magical town of Cookie Jar. He’s been running his Aunt Sally’s cookie shop since he inherited it. But with all the money problems, he thinks it is best to sell it.

However, Jake has a change of heart once he finds out that Hannah, the representative of National Foods, is planning on relocating the company to Buffalo, New York, making it impossible for the current employees to hold onto their jobs.

Plus, the peace and tranquility of Cookie Jar are disrupted after it becomes public knowledge that Aunt Sally’s Christmas Cookie Company is up for grabs. After all, it’s the only Christmas cookie shop in town, and the bakery is deeply rooted in the town’s traditions.

Faced with putting Aunt Sally’s most loyal employees out of work and dimming the spirit of Cookie Jar’s residents, Jake realizes that this is an offer he must refuse since he can’t bring himself to be the sole cause of so much unhappiness.

Meanwhile, Hannah needs to seal the deal. But the more she pushes Jake, the more he tries to redirect her to examine why she has given up on Christmas.

Determined to keep the relationship professional, Hannah tries not to get caught up in the wondrous spirit of the holidays. Plus, she needs to get back home to tend to her boyfriend, who is planning to ask for her hand in marriage.

However, as time passes, Hannah reconnects with her precious childhood memories of Christmas while developing strong romantic feelings for Jake at the same time.

Will Hannah make her boss proud by fulfilling her assignment and sealing the deal? And will she give up her old love for the new love she’s found in Jake?
